Kate's POV After a few minutes of driving, we arrived at one of the busiest restaurants in town. I was surprised how we could possibly get a place at this restaurant without having to wait long. "How can we get a table here? I heard this place is always full," I asked, looking at Erlan questioningly. Erlan just smiled mysteriously. "I have a special connection. Come on, let's go in." Kate's POV "Thank you for tonight, Kate. I really enjoyed our time together," he said softly. "Me too, Erlan. Thank you for making tonight so special," I answered, reluctant to part. Erlan smiled and nodded. "See you tomorrow, Kate. Rest well." "Erlan, how about you come in and dry your clothes here? I can give you dry clothes temporarily," I offered when I realized his clothes were still soaking wet. Erlan looked embarrassed. "I don't want to bother you, Kate." "It's not a hassle at all. Come on, I won't let you go home wet like this," I insisted with a confident smile. After a moment of hesitation, Erlan finally nodded. "Okay, thanks, Kate." We went into my apartment, and I gave Erlan a towel and dry clothes. "You can change clothes in the bathroom," I said, pointing in the direction. Kayra's POV I sat on the living room sofa, staring at the wall clock which showed two in the morning. My eyes felt heavy, but the thought of Darwis not yet coming home made it difficult for me to sleep. Since the last few days, Darwis' behavior has become increasingly strange and difficult to understand. He often came home late at night, and when he came home, his mind seemed to be somewhere else.
