Two days and were yet to make any improvement in finding Angela. I’ve spoken with Adam, and he claims that Martinez isn’t planning anything, at least not to his knowledge. I also questioned him about Mateo and he told me that Mateo has been lying low after his arrest.

It’s a thing of total disappointment that the man I sent to spy on Martinez and his son knows nothing about Mateo’s plan to overthrow his father. Just how useless can he be? Just how clueless can he get? I almost told him about the plan so he can look into it, but after much contemplation, keeping that information to myself seemed to be the best thing to do. I can’t be so certain that he still works for me, that he is not intentionally withholding information about Mateo from me.

Things are beginning to get messy, and if I don’t get a handle on it, it might get out of hand. Angela was summoned to the station for questioning yesterday, but I gave them an excuse, saying that she was too sick to leave the house. I ca
