Call me silly, but I think this is the best time to attempt an escape. Aaron left for work in a haste this morning and he took a cab…did you hear that? A cab instead of his car and I know exactly where to find the keys.

Unknown to Aaron, I’ve been paying close attention to him. Whenever he leaves for work, I usually walk him to his private parking lot, discussing one thing or the other to distract him so he wouldn’t figure out that I’m trying to memorize his passcode.

Packing my hair into a bun, I held it tightly with a band. Aaron’s security aren’t allowed into the house unless there is an emergency and right now, I’m very grateful for that policy.

Quickly racing to Aaron’s room, I opened the door and aimed straight for his closet. His car key lay on the vanity and with a happy grin, I grabbed it before dashing to the parking lot.
