Evelyn smiled and replied, "Ezra has a wife and kid. How is he a single idiot?"

"But he doesn't have a son. The Hawkins still don't have an heir. What's the point of marrying so young, then? He's nothing like me. I got myself an heir on my first try. Darling, isn't your husband awesome?"

Seeing how proud he was, Evelyn felt that Warren was truly being himself at that moment.

He was a man with flesh and blood. He experienced sorrow and joy like any regular guy. Warren wasn't acting the way he used to when he buried every single one of his emotions in his heart.

Evelyn smiled and caressed his head. She agreed with him and said, "Yes, you are awesome. Here, let me reward you with a kiss."
