Hearing Ezra's response made Ethan chuckle nonchalantly. He replied, "That's not possible. How can I possibly be in love with her? The woman of my dreams is sweet and graceful. She is nothing like the person I was talking about.

"The person I'm talking about has a sharp tongue and is so violent. I'd rather stay single forever than be with her.

"It seems you have learned nothing from your marriage. You can't even figure out something so simple. You might as well get a divorce."

Ezra chuckled in exasperation and said, "Even a dumb mutt can tell that you're into Jazzie, so don't bother denying it to me."
