Chapter 42: Escape

I entered Beelzebub's room and pleaded with him to release me so I could find my friends. However, Beelzebub refused, saying, "Don't bother me," which left me feeling frustrated and defeated.

"What's his deal?" I mumbled, tears welling up in my eyes. Does he see me as a weak girl? I recalled hearing him tell Madam Jenna that I was weak because I couldn't fight him without getting killed, and defeating Lucifer would be a problem for me.

After years of training, I still wasn't strong enough. Maybe, at some point, he was right. It reminded me of when I was just a child, getting bullied by my schoolmates who called me a weak princess. I never won a fight and was always very scared. But now, it's different. I can take down thousands of demons within seconds.

June stood beside me, her hands on my back, giving me a soft smile. I turned to June for advice, and she suggested that we join a warrior fight organized by Beelzebub.

"It might come in handy," she said.

I agreed to join the fight, hop
