Magnus

"Stop destroying the contents of this house. I am planning to loot all their valuables and bring it to my estate." These witches have no idea how priceless most of the things are inside this house. High Priestess Celeste and her mate Alpha Blake have amassed a great deal of wealth over the years, profiting from Celeste's magic. She had asked for jewels, gold and rare gems from pack's who required her of her services. Many items in this mansion were antiques, precious heirlooms, given to her as payment for her protection charm. I wanted everything in this house, especially the contents of their vault.

"Magnus, you must be joking. You said we could destroy anything we wanted. And I for one, would love to destroy everything in this house as well as the mansion itself." Lilith picked up a ceramic vase and dropped it on the floor. The vase shattered into many small pieces. I shook my head. What a waste.

"My dear, Lilith, all these things I can sell so I can buy you all those trinkets all of you want. I can't sell valuables that have been damaged beyond repair. Unless you have the power to make what is broken whole again." I watched her pout her dark lips knowing full well none of them had that power. Only the High Priestess Celeste had that gift.

Ah, Celeste. One of the most beautiful wolves I have ever laid eyes on. When she was presented to be Luna of Alpha Blake, I was filled with jealousy. She should have been mine. Unfortunately, she wanted fame and fortune and I had none of that to offer her.

I did not have the luck of being the first born pup in my family. That was bestowed to my brother Lucas. Before, our pack was better off compared to most packs even that of Blake's, however Blake had the good fortune of finding Celeste first, when he made a trip to Canada to forge an alliance with the packs of the north. When he returned, he had brought Celeste with him and had immediately presented her to be his new Luna.

I tried my hardest to grab her attention, but she never wanted to be near me. Wheb I heard her mating ceremony to Blake was scheduled to proceed in a month's time, I concocted a plan to overthrow my brother and rise as the new Alpha of my pack and steal the beautiful Celeste from Blake.

I challenged my brother to a fight for the right of Alpha. He shook his head and told me it wasn't a good idea to fight him for a woman. He knew I had my eye on Celeste and that I was willing to do everything in my power to have her.

My brother stared at me in disbelief when I confronted him, openly disrespecting his authority. He was at the grounds of our ranch, breaking in new horses and I had entered the corral, provoking him.

"Magnus, there are many other she-wolves out there who will be willing to be your mate. You can not possibly believe being Alpha will solve all your problems. She is already destined for another wolf, brother. It will be better if you accept that fact," my brother said, sounding irritated.

"This is not about Celeste, Lucas! This is about me wanting to be Alpha. I have every right since I am the second born," I yelled at him. I took my shirt off, waiting for him to agree to the challenge, so I could shift into my wolf.

"Alright, Magnus, but I'm warning you. If you lose, you will be banished from this pack, never to return. Or you may ask me to kill you. I know how difficult it is to be a rogue. You will not last a day out there on your own." He entered the corral, chewing on a stalk of grain, like I was more of an inconvenience rather than a challenger.

"I will not lose! I will kill you and take my rightful place as Alpha!" I shifted into my wolf and sprinted towards him. I pounced, but my brother was quick. He sidestepped my wolf and shifted into his wolf. In just a blink of an eye, it was over. He had my neck in his mouth.

"Live or die, Magnus?" He asked me through mind link.

"Live!" I replied. He let go of my neck and allowed me to run off. My banishment was effective immediately.

While I ran out of my former pack's territory, I vowed my revenge. I will show you, Lucas! I will show all of you!

As a rogue, I gained notoriety amongst the rogues, killing my way to the top and earning my keep through crime. Once I had established myself as Rogue Alpha, I went and visited all the crime bosses within the vicinity. I killed them and all their little minions and made myself the new crime boss of the Pacific Coast.

Because I had a large enough army as well as money from my new "businesses", I decided to start exterminating wolf packs whose Alpha would not pledge their allegiance to me. I started with the weak packs who had no choice but to pledge their fealty. However, as I worked my way up the food chain, so to speak, I was caught in a little snag.

I wasn't this ugly before. I used to have women falling at my feet. I also had the use of both my eyes. I was just caught unawares.

Celeste started providing security to the wealthy packs. I learned of this when I visited Alpha Adolf of the Oregon Wolf Howlers Pack and tried to enter his territory. Once I and my Beta entered the boundary of the pack's territory, we were thrown into the air as thousands of silver daggers stabbed us as we fell slowly back to earth. One of the daggers had stabbed my right eye. The silver burned through my eye and when I pulled out the dagger, the fluid from my eyeball gushed out. Now, I wear a patch over my right eye and live with horrible scars on my face and body, a constant reminder of Celeste.

I stopped exterminating wolf packs for a while to regroup and plan things through. I had heard of a number of dark witches who once were friends with Celeste, but because of certain "misunderstandings", broke away from her and started a new life of dark magic. Since we all had similarities, I invited them to work for me. We all have a great working relationship; we understand what we want. We all also have a pleasurable sexual relationship. They don't mind the scars just as long I can bring them to the brink of ecstacy, although they do sometimes magic the scars away.

With my harem of dark witches by my side, I pushed through with my original plan of exterminating packs who would not pledge their allegiance to me. The dark witches would weaken the protection charm which covered the whole territory. This caused a big strain on Celeste who would shuffle from pack to pack so, she started charging more for her services. Most of the wealthy packs had no problem paying Celeste, however the rest did.

It would take a while for the charms to weaken, sometimes it would take a day, but it wasn't a problem. I am a patient wolf. I just had to wait until the protection charm was gone before I started my attack. Once I had brought the Alpha to his knees, he would concede defeat and pledge his allegiance. Since they first opted to ask protection from Celeste, I exterminated them anyway, knowing full well, I would never have their loyalty.

One night, one of the dark witches of my harem went into a trance. We were in the throes of passion when she suddenly stopped sucking my penis and sat up, cross legged, with her wet sex dripping on the sheets of my king size bed.

"Jinx, it's my turn." Mary kneeled before me and took my penis inside her mouth. She sucked my shaft, taking my whole length into her throat. I leaned back into the pillows and groaned in pleasure, grabbing Mary's hair as she went up and down my shaft.

"A High Priestess and Alpha will give birth to a child. She is destined to be a celestial wolf, most powerful among witches and wolves alike. She alone will have the power to kill the Alpha of the Rogues." Jinx's eyes had gone white while she spoke and her voice had turned ethereal.

"Jinx, what did you just say?" Lilith, the leader of the group shook Jinx and her eyes which were hidden inside the top of her head, reverted back to their original positions.

I pushed Mary away and took Jinx's arms and shook her. "WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?!" I yelled at her. She pushed away from me, but I had a tight hold on her. I slapped her on her cheek and shook her once more. "What did you just say?!" I growled, showing her my fangs.

"Magnus, what are you talking about? I didn't say anything. I was sucking your cock! That's all I remember!" She began to cry, clenching her red cheek.

"You talked about a high priestess and an Alpha having a child who will become a celestial wolf and she alone will have the power to kill me!"

"I don't remember saying anything like that!" She screamed at me. I slapped her face over and over again until she lost consciousness. I was filled with so much rage, I grabbed Mary and slapped her too. I was going to slap her again, but Lilith stopped me, throwing me across the room with magic.

"Take Jinx and bring her to her room so she can heal. I will deal with Magnus." Lilith put on a robe while Mary dragged the unconscious Jinx out of the room.

"How dare you use your magic against me!" I growled at Lilith.

"How dare you hurt one of us, Magnus! Jinx was in a trance when she uttered those words. She has no recollection of what she said! It was clearly a prophecy. I do not know any other High Priestess except for Celeste and she is mated to an Alpha. However, she is not with child." Lilith moved a chair to where I was on the floor with her finger and started pacing up and down, thinking what Jinx had meant.

"How do you know Celeste isn't pregnant? Do you two call each other like bestfriends you once were?" I picked myself up from the floor and sat on the chair. Lilith was once Celeste's bestfriend until Blake chose Celeste and not her. Lilith gave me a cold look.

"I have people watching. What I know is she and Blake are busy building their empire. I heard Celeste also has plans to become Elder. What we should start doing is expanding our operations throughout the country, Magnus. Let us take a pause on our extermination. I would rather live with wolves than humans. Actually, I would rather start exterminating humans. Such grisly creatures!"

"You know what? You're right. Why keep killing my own kind when I could kill the ones who keep taking what is ours?" I agreed with Lilith, it was time to turn against the humans. I stopped harassing my kind and diverted all my attention to humans. I pillaged, kidnapped and killed.

Who would have known killing humans would be so much fun! Because of my new preoccupation of exterminating the humans, I had forgotten the prophecy. Until news reached me that one of Celeste's priestesses spoke in a trance uttering the same words which Jinx had spoken before.

News of the prophecy spread and wolves kept a keen eye on Celeste. She went into seclusion, not wanting to be subjected to rumors or speculations.

Then, from out of the blue, Lilith received a call from one of her spies. The spy informed her Celeste was pregnant. The girls and I agreed to attack the pack by surprise on the eve of the Mabon or the annual Harvest Moon Thanksgiving celebration. According to Lilith's informant, Celeste was not due until a month or so. It would be perfect. No more Celeste and no more prophecy. Of course, no more Blake and no more Autumn Moon Pack too. We would exterminate the lot of them.

And here we are, Blake is dead and the territory was burning. All I needed to do was find Celeste.

"WHO IS IN MY HOUSE?!" And here she is...finally.

I walked out of the living room and went to the grand staircase. There stood on the first landing of the staircase was a sickly Celeste, in a large white gown. I sniffed and I could smell the hormones of pregnancy on her. I sneered at her.

"Nice of you to join us Celeste!"

CelesteI descended the grand staircase slowly, taking each step one at a time. I grabbed the banister for support as I placed one foot in front of the other, wincing in pain. I could hear voices coming from the parlor on the ground floor as well as the sound of ceramics breaking as they hit the floor. These dark witches didn't know how valuable those things were to other wolves. Clearly, they had no respect for other people's things."Where is she? If she isn't here, she must have escaped!" I heard Lilith speak. She was once my bestfriend until her jealousy tore us apart. Blake and I were fated mates, a mating blessed by the Moon Goddess herself. Lilith unfortunately believed she was Blake's fated mate and not I. So, she did the despicable. She disguised herself as me and paraded herself naked in front of Blake who was drunk after celebrating our alliances. They say your life flashes before your eyes just before you die and it is true...all the good memories and all the people you lov

Magnus"Painful for us to watch, painful for you to feel." I laughed at Celeste, who was writhing in pain, the mate bond broken from Blake's death. She blew him a kiss, how touching. Why didn't she save him so she could heal him? Honestly, she looked sick. Maybe pregnancy was taking a toll on her."Magnus, we agreed I would have Blake!" Lilith whispered to me in a deep voice. " You gave me your word." I grabbed her by her arm and twisted it. She yelped in pain. I pulled her towards me so she could smell my horrid breath."Blake doesn't love you and he will never love you even if Celeste is gone from this Earth. Why would he settle for someone ugly and used? He will find someone prettier and fresh. I am doing you a favor."I saw her eyes glaze over for a second, a clear sign someone was communicating with her. It must be the girls telling her to walk away. "How would you know? You have never experienced love. Not all wolves are like you, Magnus." Lilith pulled away from me so I let he

SakuraIt was raining like a tropical storm outside. Lightning sizzled, loud thunder roared and the torrents of rain hitting the roof of the house was so loud, I couldn't hear the television. I wiped my hands on my apron and switched the channel to the news and waited for the weather forecaster to go on. Strange. She didn't mention anything about the rain tonight. Lightning flickered again like a light of a camera and thunder followed it, making the whole house vibrate. A moment ago, the full moon was shining, glistening so beautifully. Then, all of sudden, dark clouds appeared, covering the moon and releasing an angry burst of rain. Oh, well, the weather was always unpredictable.I was washing the dishes while Winston, my husband, went around the house making sure the windows were all shut tight. The wind was howling outside. He didn't want the rain water to stain our hardwood floors.Winston and I have been married for quite some time. I'm a first generation Japanese-Filipino while m

MagnusI was pacing up and down in my study thinking of what I could do so the Council of Wolves would retract the bounty they had so generously offered in exchange for me.Now that Celeste is dead, I could do whatever I want without any obstacles in my way. Although, I'm still ticked off I wasn't able to find that damn ring of hers. The Moon Goddess never plays fair especially for a big bad wolf like me.The Council of Wolves were starting to be a real pain in the neck. They had announced they were offering a bounty for my head, whether I be dead or alive. I mean, why would they care if I sell drugs or smuggle stuff? It's not like I'm doing it to the wolves."Magnus, kidnapping Omegas and making them sex slaves isn't something the Council of Elders would willfully condone. Why don't we just focus on humans? The Omegas are still our brethren," Lilith said, after she read the sheet of paper the Council Elders had put up at the gates of territories of all the wolf packs in the country. S

High Elder I had my chauffeur drive me near the estate of the Rogue Legion where I got out to walk the rest of the way. It was a far walk to the gates of the territory, but I did not want my driver to be accosted by the rogues while I conducted business.I patiently waited at the gate for Magnus where a number of rogues were snarling at me, but because I was the High Elder, they could not attack knowing it would mean their deaths. It was a good fifteen minutes before Magnus himself came out of his mansion to greet me, his harem of dark witches not far behind him."High Elder Alfred Evans, what a nice surprise! I would invite you in, but I know you will decline so we can just talk out here in the open instead. I do commend you for your bravery. Coming here unaccompanied." Magnus shook his head. "I could kill you right where you stand." Magnus chuckled, obviously delighted in the fact I had stooped down to the level of a messenger."Enough of the threats, Magnus. We all know you can not

(Present Day)Later tonight when the Harvest Moon starts to rise will be my 18th birthday. Currently I am a freshman at a university here in Montana near home, although I had wanted to enroll elsewhere. My mother didn't allow me to go to school outside the state saying she preferred family close by. As always, she would say it was the Filipino in her. I tried to argue the fact that she actually left her family in California, but she went technical and justified her decision to keep me home by asserting the fact that she lived at home when she was in college. Then, she threw in "technology" into the debate and pointed out I have a grandmother who is on standby through video call 24/7. So, now when my mother asks me where my grandmother is, I tell her she's in my pocket which usually earns me a dirty look from her. It's true anyway. My smartphone is always in my pocket. It was chaos in our house. My mother was going to throw a Harvest Moon Thanksgiving party for my dad tonight. Actually

He looked like a modern day Adonis. The setting sun behind him casted an ethereal glow on his very tall form which made him look like a Greek God. He was beautiful, there was no other word to describe him. He had dark hair cut neat and short, chiseled features, full lips, a nice nose and clear blue eyes. When he took off his shirt, I had to look away. He was very proud of his physique, but why wouldn't he? His broad shoulders were wide, his chest muscles bulging and his stomach flat and taut. And his arms...his biceps protruded from his arms and were hard to the touch. When I touched his arm, his muscles tensed beneath my touch, extremely sensitive. It could be the reason why the High Elder is flying out here tonight," my father said, his distress obvious in his voice. Even Kiaria began to look concerned."Father, let's calm down. We will know when the High Elder arrives," I said, looking at the wall clock. "He will be here soon.""Who is Magnus? I think I have the right to know if I'm right in assuming he was the one who killed my biological parents," Kiaria said with so much conviction, I decided it was time to tell her what I knew.I took her hand in mine, hoping to give her some comfort. Since I was bothered by that one rogue's untimely death, I toyed with the idea that I should go see a therapist. However, Selene argued I shouldn't feel guilty... that it was either him or my father. While I was waiting for my father to sign some documents for the police, I took a moment to imagine a different scenario, one where my dad was dead and the rogue wolf was alive. I wouldn't be here at the police station. Instead, I would be at a funeral home making arrangements while my mother would be seated in the car waiting for me, catatonic, broken and distraught. After burying my father, my mother would struggle to move on while I would live a life full of regret, constantly blaming myself for not doing what had to be done. My wolf was right. There

I took the biggest heavy duty pipe wrench, hoping it would serve as a weapon.I had to think of a way to separate the two rogues. I decided to make the door creak. It worked.
