He didn't say more than that, neither did he release Lucius from the hug. Lucius too didn't question him the most. He just kept wondering what happened while he was away and for the Alpha King with his strong and stubborn personality, should be this down, what happened was definitely serious.

After a while, Dylan released him and then sighed.

"You should rest Beta" he then stood up and left.

Lucius was surprised that the Alpha King didn't ask him anything relating to his trip.

"Is he so down that he couldn't care?" He asked himself.

The Alpha King has never been this down, that he needed a hug. He would bottle all the pain in his heart. Even if he wanted to talk, it would be a few words but now, he was obviously in so much pain that his heart could hear.

He then thought about the only thing and person that has moved him in recent days.

"Selena!" Lucius murmured out.

He then quickly went to his phone and dialled her number. Selena picked up immediately.
