"Your sister, Lily," Audrey cooed, squeezing her hands. "She's alive!"

Beads of sweat trickled down Lily's head. "There's no way that's possible," she murmured.

Her head was pounding. How did Chloe end up here?

"It is! I couldn't believe it until I took a peek at her. Jeff brought her in last night."

"Wow," Lily felt her body go cold. "Can... can I see her?"

"Sadly, you can't."

Lily's eyes widened. "Why?"

Do they already know that she's involved?

"Have they found the people involved?" Lily managed to ask.

"Involved?" Audrey echoed. "Involved in what?"

"Oh, we thought she was dead for a while, and then suddenly she appeared. Has she told you guys what happened?"

"Uh, no. She lost her memory, so none of us are allowed to speak to her yet."

"Any idea what happened?"

Audrey sighed. "I wish I knew."

Lily needed to talk to Chloe as quickly as possible, or else there would be trouble for them. Twenty hours had already passed since Chloe took the last dose of her medication.
