"I don't want to get married!" I grumbled angrily, throwing the invitation back onto the table where my beta had placed it once again.

"Alpha, unfortunately, we have no choice. Since you returned Katy, we've lost the support of the largest pack in the north. I don't believe their alpha will rebel against us, but the best way to avoid war is through political marriage alliances. The pack of the Rising Sun Moon is willing to marry off their only daughter. They are strong, and this alliance would be advantageous to avoid the rumors..." my beta advised again, placing the letter on the table with a worried sigh.

"I hate politics. I already have so many obligations as alpha, and this is the only thing keeping me from returning to the human world to look for Eleanor. By the way, how are the searches?" I asked, nervous. It had been six months since she had been hiding so well that we couldn't find any trace.
