CHAPTER FIVE: "A day with Stone."

Stone push himself out of the shelves and left me standing awkwardly. "Did he just quote Howl's words?" I ask myself. Or maybe it's in my mind?

I just shrug before getting all the things that I need. Luckily I have my money on me. Kuya Mayk is still in the parking lot. What's taking him so long?

A certain book attracts my eyes as I stare at it. It's You made my dawn. The sequel for Our dawn is hotter than day book. I was thinking of giving it to Christian. Seeing him reading the book earlier. But We are not that close for me to give him a book right?

"Hey, Province girl still not done?" I look at Stone's annoy face as I grab the book and go to the counter.

"Did my brother texted you? I mean he is still not here..." I'm not worry about the money. I just want to be with my brother. Speaking of my dear brother. Stone's phone suddenly ring making the both of us to look at his pocket. He answer the call while I finish giving the things that I bought in the counter.

"What?! So you basically left without us?" Stone's words makes me to look at him. His eyebrow furrowed and he look at me.

"Thank you for coming ma'am!" The cashier cheerfully said and I smile and thanked her. As I walk towards Kingstone, I hesitate if I should ask him what's wrong or not.

"Uh... something's wrong? Where's Kuya Mayk?" I ask carefully. He looks like he is not in a good mood. I bit my lip when he look at me with his furrowed brows. "Your brother ditches us. He left us since his girlfriend needs him."

I frown. Kuya have a girlfriend? "Oh, I wasn't aware that he have a girlfriend." I sigh and try not to look disappointment. Somehow, I slowly thinking that maybe time changes things between us. Beside, we did not grow together. 

Kingstone clear his throat. "Come on. I will buy the things you need for tomorrow." He said as he start walking out of the store. I follow him since I don't know this place. Not yet. But once I'm familiar with this new City, I will leave the house by myself so I don't have to think about my chaperone.

"You have school bag?" He ask. I nodded my head. I have a tote bag with me. I painted it with my favortie ghibli art when I was still in the Province.

"Yup. It's hand made my me when I was still in the province." I said and look around. I was trying to find something to eat while walking.

When my eyes landed on Stone, I saw him looking at me intently. I scratch my head and ask. "Why?"

"What kind of bag is that? Remember you are in a big city." Stone said and I look at him confuse. 

"So?" I slowly ask but Stone started walking without saying a words. Minutes later I just found myself carrying an expensive school bag and school shoes. "I don't even need this..." I whisper in daze.

Stone look at me and raise a brow. "I pay for them and you can't bring them back in the stores." He arrogantly said. I can't help but to shake my head. "I never ask for you to pay this--or buy this!" 

I can't help but to feel irritated with him. I don't want to spend anyone's money. I have my own! Stone stop walking and face me. I held my breath with our closeness. It's a sudden turn and I was behind him. 

"You should say Thank you instead of complaining." He said coldly. I pout before opening my mouth to say the words. "Thank you." Those words didn't came from my heart.

We continue walking until I suddenly stop when I spotted something that catch my attention. And here I am, starring at the poster. I saw Stone's reflection on the glass mirror walking backwards. "Are you that fan of ghibli arts?" 

I look too schock when I look at Stone. "How do you know that's this is ghibli?" I ask. He schock me with that. I rarely found someone who knows ghibli. That is why I marked boys who know ghibli as one of a rare find.

Stone's expression shifted into his usual bored look. "I have a sister too." My mouth curve into a bright smile and clap my hands together. "Can you introduce me to your sister?" I ask him but he's not looking at me. 

I jump in front of him catching him off guard. "H-hey! Don't do that again!" I frown with his mood swings.

"I just want to meet your sister. If you see ghibli in your sister, meaning she's a fan too." I give Haku one more glance before walking. Maybe next time I will re watch it in cinema. Alone.

I was stop walking when Stone grab me in my back shirt. "Let's eat first before going home." Oh. Yeah. It's almost dinner time. Woah, whenever I spent my time in a mall. I spend my time in a blissful moment.

"Yeah, let's eat first." I agreed with him. "What do you want to eat?" He ask and I think. I don't eat rice in night. I easily get fat in my body. And I need to control my weight.

"Can we eat in a cafè? Is there a good cafè here?" I ask him. He just look at me and start walking. It makes me sigh. This is my first time having a time with my brother's bestfriend. And I can say that I will distance myself.

"I’m ready to love, Tell me, can we stay together I’m a fool of love for you, My heart by your side forever..."

We enter a cafè inside the mall. I look around in an awe with the ambiance. I think this is a k-pop cafè. "This is a seventeen cafè." I said. I saw a lot of posters and merchandise.

"I know that owner. Beside she's a good baker." I nodded my head. 

"My feelings grew after I met you Just friends that’s not enough for me..."

"I like their music. It's good." Stone look at me as he choose the center table. I sit down in front of him as I look around the cafè.

"First time feeling my heart race Never thought it’d beat so fast All I wanna do is run away Cause you are my escape baby Love has no limit, I want an answer ay I’m ready to love, Tell me, can we stay together I’m a fool of love for you, My heart by your side forever..." I look at Stone who sang the korean song. 

"Woah? You know how to speak in Korea?" I ask with admiration in my eyes. He look at me and roll his eyes. "I'm haft korean and it's obvious in my surname."

That make me think. "How did you met my brother? How did you become friend with him?" I was curious. To think of it, everything changes over the years that we are apart from each other.

"Because he's a loyal friend who doesn't use others for their own intentions." Stone's answer make me smile proudly. Of course! Even though Kuya Mayk grew up with our father, He gets that from our mother.

"Do you know?" Stone ask with his low tone. I look at him questioning as I waited for him to continue his words. "ulineun imi olae jeon-e iyagi..."

I look at him with my eyes wide open as realization hits him. But before he can even say a word, I clap my hands "you are good at speaking ching chong!" I give him a thumbs up and he seems to relax. Huh? Weird.
