Lily's POV:

Waking up the next morning after Blake recuperated from his unconscious state, I quietly slipped out of bed leaving him to get his much-needed rest.

I got dressed and then went to gather my four-year-old twins, Mason and Madison to help them get ready for school as that had become my new daily routine since enrolling them back into public preschool.

"Good morning Mommy, what kept you so long? We are ready for school," the twins cheerfully said in unison as usual while they ran into my arms eagerly wanting to go to school. I smiled while carrying both in my arms.

"Good morning my loves," I gave each one of them a peak on their chubby pink cheek. They giggled lightly.

"Mommy, how is Daddy feeling today?" Madison asked while maintaining eye contact with me. I sighed softly.
