I was alone in the lab going through the results of the recent medicines that we created using my blood. The batch came out pretty fine.

My vision blurred for a second and I grasped the counter to balance myself. I've been feeling weak and it was because of the blood withdrawal. Sighing I blinked rapidly and tried to stay composed.

Things have been hectic lately. The virus was spreading fast and the death rate had already increased to twenty-eight people. At first it was just symptoms and the ratio of death was none but with the passage of time it is becoming dangerously fatal which was bad if we didn't come out with a solution soon. I'm afraid it would take the shape of a disaster and huge loss for our kind to such an extent that this virus might wipe out our whole species. It was terrifying.

We informed other packs to take necessary precautions and serious SOPs were followed.
