The next day, Jason was still asleep when I called Leon.

He answered on the second call and I asked him about Fredrick. He told me he was fine and doing okay after I gave him treatment. I further asked him if the virus had spread further in his pack and he gave me an affirmative answer.

I ended the call after that. It confirmed our suspicions – the stronger the wolf is, the worse he would be affected by the virus. So Jason relapsed more frequently than Fredrick did.

Later at the lab, I kept Jason under supervision. Judging from Jason’s activities, we guessed that the spell was working on the wolves while the virus was working on the body.
