Chapter 142

Leon's POV:

I watched as she sat beside Lily making small talk with her. It was Lily who introduced herself and initiated the conversation.

I was damn sure that Lily asked April to invite Julie here because of me because no way Jason or April would want to invite her knowing what Julie wanted from them, especially from Jason.

I don't know why it pisses me off the more I think about Julie with Jason.

I watched as she glanced at me only to look a bit surprised because I was already looking at her. Our eyes were locked for a couple of seconds before she looked away.

I wonder what was going on inside her head. The more I look at her the more I think about her. I've come to the sudden realization that both of us haven't rejected each other on a serious note. We are still mates. We did have one night stand but that was it. Nothing more. Nothing less.

I closed my eyes recalling that night and my jaw clenched. It was good and I couldn't stop thinking about it no matter how hard I tried.
