Chapter 149

I woke up stirring a little from my sleep. I felt so comfortable and warm.

I blinked my eyes open as my eyes fell over a sturdy chest before moving up to find Jason sleeping peacefully hugging me closer to his chest.

I realized I fell asleep on the couch while waiting for him. He brought me to the bed.

I leaned on my elbow to stare at his face. Just seeing him brought tears to my eyes. Just last night I faced death and those haunting feelings that I might never see him again still rattles my heart brutally.

I thought hard about it last night and whether I should tell Jason about this or not. I know it will be bad if I tell him but he's my mate and I shouldn't hide things from him.

I decided to tell him calmly after we had lunch.

Moving closer I pecked his lips and then kissed my mark on his neck. He stirred a little as I quickly wiped the tear that escaped my eye.

Jason moaned before shifting a little as his hold on me tightened and he pulled me even closer.
