Chapter 104

April’s pov

My head was pounding in pain. It was as if someone was hammering my head violently as it continued to throb. My eyelids felt extremely heavy as if tons of weight were placed on them.

No matter how much I tried I couldn't open my eyes. My body felt so light as a feather. I couldn't feel it. Amidst all the chaos within my head. I could feel a soft caress on my head.

The mattress under me was soft and it was dipped from my side as if someone was there. The touch was soft, warm, and tender. It strode down from my hair to my cheek before gently stroking my closed eyelids.

'Frea?' I called for her only to hear her muffled hum. She was tired and drained just like me.

I could hear faintly, someone calling my name. The voice was deep and full of emotions falling very close to my ear. The desperation in the voice forced me to fight harder against the darkness that consumed me.
