I didn't think that I could actually kill him since I never have killed anything before neither has my wolf, Jax. But both me and Jax were so in tune with each other when we decided to take back dad's pack. I don't know if this is what my mates wanted but I felt like this is what I needed to do. Like it was a part of my destiny, like this pack had something more to offer than just the alpha title.
Jax howled loudly as to announce we were the new alpha and at once all the wolves in this pack bared their necks to us in submission. I shifted back to my human form and someone was nice enough to throw me a pair of shorts to me.

POPPY POV I came back to the mansion in the evening, Tanya picked me up after the sun had set in the sky and brought me back home. POPPY POV Everything went dark as the shadow entered my mind. I felt it poke around and I dropped my walls except the walls around my bonds.
