Diego's POV I quickly drove out of the countryside, away from Ariel's house, smelling like burnt chicken, with my clothes half burnt in such a way that it seemed as if I was hastily roasted above fire. Ariel's POV Diego was trembling as he stood up on his feet, panting like someone who had run a marathon from Central City to New York. Diego quickly steered the wheel, bumping into the stupid vehicle that collided with us, leaving the truck to collide with about three of the cops' vehicles, but that didn't stop them from chasing after us, instead, sirens increased, as if they were ready to give up their lives at any moment. Diego's POV I wanted to drive to the medical center first, but I then decided to go home before going over to go see my father. I was confused, more than I had ever been in my life. My heart was heavy laden for the fact that Malia has been going through hell all those while, and at the same time relieved that I got to rescue her and her shit smelling pack member or whoever he was, and that certainly came with a price, a price that I might just find too hard to pay.
