Isaac's pov

In fact, very few people, i.e., my family and Liam, know that alcohol weakens my wolf. I also saw Alpha Gerad over here. When I looked at that girl carefully, I could smell something similar. Then I remembered that this is the same girl who was talking to Alpha Gerad a while back. Since I was drunk, I asked her to go to my room and promised her

I had sent that girl forward, but my steps were also staggering.

Anahita's pov 

Me and Natalia when Luna arrived at the ceremony. Then I could not pay much attention to him. I didn't know what was happening because my legs started twitching. I was not used to wearing heels and they were giving me trouble now. But I kept quiet because I didn't want to disturb Natalia. She had put in a lot of effort in grooming me and I didn't want to waste her hard work. After a while when all this became unbearable to me, I pretended to go to the bathroom and left there some girls were re-grooming themselves and talking about some brothers named Isaac and Alaric. I was very unaware of who those people are and why these girls are talking about them. When I came out, Shaman was making his last announcement that Luna has now been included in the pack. Everyone was applauding for their new Luna and cheering on Alpha Luna. When I looked at Luna, the smile on my face disappeared and the clapping hands stopped.

"Monica."

I mumble softly. After a while, as we were sitting at our tables, Alpha Oscar and Luna Monica came there.

Monica's smile also stopped for a while. When her eyes fell on me, I understood that the end of the day was going to be difficult for me. Monica completely ignored me throughout the conversation. Actually Monica, I and Natalia studied in the same college. I got admission because of a scholarship. Monica had her own gang in that college. Unlike what she is pretending to look innocent and pure here, she was seen there. There she was known as a bully and a crook-girl. But I cannot tell this to anyone here. No one will believe me, and if Monica comes to know that I have told the truth to someone, then she may not even let me go back alive from here. She caused a lot of trouble for me. Whenever she wanted, she used to beat me and go away. I was tired of hiding my wounds from my brother. Then Natalia said

"What are you doing? Extend your hand."

Alpha Oscar stood in front of me with outstretched hands. He was trying to shake hands with me during the introduction. I accepted his greetings and shook hands with him. Monica was looking at me as if she would eat me and throw my hand out. After that I moved away from those people and came into solitude. Then I smelled the pastry. My favorite flavor black currant, was also there. I could not stop myself. Natalia had a responsibility. His father had sent her here to represent him. She had to meet many guests and develop relations. Her understanding of diplomatic relations is much better than mine. Alpha Edward has groomed her very well. She said that she had a good dream today. This means that she will probably find her mate today. James smiled and extended his hand. I also shook hands with him. He looked good and fearless. So I liked that. I congratulated them both. Then she left from there and reached the empty area of the garden, where there were decorative lights around, but there were not many people.
