The whole Bulan looks so lively as the young goddesses dance around and perform melodic songs to entertain the fully grown ones. Today is the day that Goddess Celestia would finally step down as the ruler of Bulan and just like how everyone expected, the throne would be passed down to Amira.
“I don’t know, Morgan. I don’t know if I can do this. But I don’t want to disappoint my mother,” Amira said as she watched her mother having fun talking with the other goddesses.
'That’s why I told you to tell her about what you feel right from the start,' Morgan answered in a soft tone as he laid on his bed.
“Easier said than done.” She said as she turned her back from the crowd and walked around the empty halls of the Pavilion of Gratitude while talking to Morgan.
“How ‘bout you? When will your father—” befo
“Mother…” Elpis called out as her eyes remained on their enemies. Agatha immediately turned to look at her daughter as she rose from the ground with the help of Celestia. “The Pond of Living,” Elpis said before she gazed at her mother meaningfully. “Morgan…” She uttered in a low voice that only her mother could hear. Agatha’s eyes brightened as she came to realized what her daughter was planning. She turned to look at Amira who was staring at Elpis with a confused expression. She then glanced at the goddess beside her. If what Elpis heard was true, then the only way to save Bulan from the hands of Edana and Viny is to keep Amira alive. “Mother,” Elpis called out once again before the goddess warriors started to attack them. “Mother!” She called out in a harsh manner. Agatha wanted to do just what her d
Morgan can see everything vividly. He was feeling dizzy and lightheaded but he can see every small detail of his surroundings. He felt like something was wrong with him and so he decided to leave their house and went through the forest instead, in case he suddenly loses his mind and ends up hurting someone. He looked up to the red moon when he felt an intense fear deep within him.It wasn't his.It was Amira's."Amira, what's happening to you?" He asked worriedly as he keeps on strolling along the forest. He can hear the wolves running restlessly near him. After a while of walking, Morgan decided to calm himself and laid on the grass. He put his hands behind his head as he stared at the red moon above him, silently wondering what was actually happening."Morgan!" He immediately stood up when he heard Amira's voice. It sounded
Calliope was quick to follow the enchantress and immediately bowed down to the ground. When Romero saw this, he also bowed down. Seeing their leaders bowing down, everyone else started to pay their respects too.Amira stared at them as her hold on Morgan tightened. In fact, despite her calm and relaxed exterior, the goddess of love and light was beyond frightened. She just came from a bloodbath, her mother and the goddesses she cares for are still up there, fighting for their lives and here she is, facing another race who can either be her enemy or an ally.Morgan finally settled down and went back to his senses. He just realized that he turned when he felt Amira on his back. He can also feel her fear as her hold on him tightened."It's alright. Please rise," Amira said.Inessa and the rest reluctantly rose from the ground and faced her. The moment Amira met the eyes of the ones living in the other realm from where she came from, she felt complicated. She
Amira's eyes were close, she can feel the soft mattress beneath her and hear distant voices. She might have panicked if only she didn't feel Morgan's presence inside the room.“Is she really a moon goddess, Morgan?” Romero asked while looking at the lady laying on his son's bed.“She is,” Morgan answered.“How can you be so sure?” Romero asked staring at his eldest with doubt.“We were talking... For years.” Morgan confessed as he gently caressed Amira's head.“For years?” Romero asked, throwing his wife a glance as she tried to stop him from asking by slightly squeezing his arms, he then turned to stare intently at Morgan once again.“What do you mean?” he asked.Morgan sighed heavily as he felt Amira gaining consciousness.“Let's talk about it later, Pa. She's almost awake,” Morgan announced making his parents turned to look at Amira who slowl
“It’s always her, then and now…” he said as a small smile appeared on his lips.Amira stared back at him and her heart immediately started pounding. She unconsciously looked up in the bright moon above them as she remembered Goddess Agatha’s words.Love.She had read numerous scrolls of love that could last her a lifetime and yet these feelings inside her still felt foreign and familiar at the same time. She looked down and turned to look at Morgan once again and finally smiled back at him.“And do we supposed to accept the moon goddess in our pack? Forgive me your goddess, but we all know that getting associated with you would bring us… this pack… misfortunes.” Olivers continued.“If you’ll insist her to stay here with us, we wouldn’t have any choice but to think that all of this is a fraud. That she… is not the true moon goddess.” He added earning the crowd&rs
“Morgan is an ultima wolf.” She said, making sure that her voice was loud and clear enough to be understood by everyone.A deafening silence was heard before the buzzing among the crowd started. Even Morgan and his parents turned to look at the enchantress questioningly. An ultima wolf is an ancient type of wolf that can even be considered as a myth in the whole Serigala. The last time they’ve heard about these creatures was last recorded hundreds of centuries ago.Ultima wolves were the mundane’s greatest fear way back then. It was said that one look at their red eyes or a single bite from their fangs would turn the mundanes into werewolves. Their bites were not known to kill but were very fatal to humans and wolves alike. The turning caused by their bites and stares was extremely slow and painful. The bite itself was known to caused such an unbearable pain to the victim once the ultima’s fangs sunk into their skin that they
"Goddess Amira? What’s wrong?” Enchantress Inessa asked as she saw the goddess heaved out a deep sigh with her hands on her chest.“I… I need to go…” Amira uttered with tears brimming in her eyes as Morgan’s overwhelming emotions hit her.“Goddess? What’s wrong?” Calliope called out as she noticed the commotion of the people that were starting to surround the goddess and the enchantress.“I… I need to find Morgan,” Amira answered.“He’s probably talking to his brother—” Calliope trailed off when she saw Amira shaking her head.“He’s…I need to find him,” she said and run-off away from the crowd.“Morgan!” she called out as she walk around the forest where she last saw her mate. She kept on calling for him but she receives no response from him. Only that the anxiousness and sadness that keeps on g

She can’t believe how much he had suffered just because… he met her?“Because you were already lonely—”“But you got lonely here too!” She interjected, can’t get over the fact that they’ve been talking to each other every day but he failed to tell her all about these things.“Alright. Hush now, love. I’m all good now, am I not?” he coaxed as he pulled her deeper into his embrace.Amira felt comfort as the sparks and tingles of their body touching occurred to her. Her trembling body slowly relaxed as he gently caressed her arms.“Hush now, love. I’m alright, now.” He whispered as he buried his head in between her neck and shoulders.
“I can’t help her in this state, Morgan. I’ll go blind just looking at her.” “It’s only you who can go near her. We already vacated the packhouse. The injured ones were already attended to.” “Comfort her, Morgan. She never wanted this to happen. This is not her fault.” It was a disaster. She is that disaster. Amira hugged her knees closer to her chest as tears rolled down her face. She can feel the stars hovering over her glowing body as if calming her down. She can still hear the people outside the room talking
Amira looked up at the sky and stared at it with worry. Something is definitely going on. No matter how mad her mother could be, she would never reject such a message she sent her. That was her last straw and now that there was still no response from anyone in Bulan… she was sure. There is something wrong. She refuses to acknowledge all the negative thoughts plaguing her mind but that’s all she could think about right now. She felt so restless thinking that something happened to her mother. Goddess Celestia is not the best mother but she’s not that bad either. She took care of her, raised her well, and never abandoned her. She even pushed her down into this
“A penny for your thoughts?” Morgan’s soft and loving tone accompanied his warm arms that embraced Amira’s small body from behind. She was silently looking out the window, thinking about her current situation and wondering about her mother’s and companion’s situation up there in Bulan. She felt Morgan place a tender kiss on her shoulders before his arms around her tightened. “Is something bothering you?” he asked earning a sigh from the moon goddess. “I… I am worried about my mother,” she confessed. She immediately felt a quick stir in Morgan’s emotion before it completely vanish as he inhales her scent. &l
“We’re really sorry for all the trouble, moon goddess,” one of the councils apologized after their long conversation about the current state of Wolfpoint because of her presence. “It’s nothing. I’m grateful that you work hard in order to protect me and our people,” Amira answered gracefully. Her arms tangled across Morgan’s who was standing beside her, talking to another council. “It is our honor to serve the moon goddess—“ “Luna. She’s currently the luna of Crescent Walkers now,” Morgan corrected, earning an affectionate smile from his mate who even rested her head on his shoulder. The councilors conceded with Morgan’s overwhelming alpha aura and nodded apologetically. “Our apologies.”
Amira woke up feeling Morgan’s butterfly kisses on her face. She snuggled closer to his chest to feel his warmth. Her body felt sore all over but she actually feels good. Her body felt lighter than ever and the smile on her lips can’t help but appear as she felt her mate’s loving touches. She fell asleep naked last night but she woke up wearing the very same dress she had stripped off in front of Morgan. He probably dressed her up to make her comfortable. “Is it morning already?” she asked while her face was buried on his bare chest. “Uhuh…” he answered in a sweet voice. “You seem to be in a good mood,” she pointed out before looking up to meet his gaze.
Amira felt the cold breeze of the afternoon air. Although the sun remains hidden behind the bright full moon, the afternoon breeze is still evident in the air. Especially as she felt Morgan jumping from one tree to another with an unimaginable speed. “Are you alright? Am I going too fast—“ “I can’t wait to feel you,” Amira whispered by Morgan’s neck to cut him off. It was actually uncomfortable being carried while running and jumping at the speed of light but she knew her mate better. Once she mentioned her discomfort about the situation, he would stop everything and his prior intentions would be buried deep down in his mind again.
“I’ve heard rumors about the golden boy of Grimbell was mated with the moon goddess but I didn’t think it was true!”“I thought that golden boy had been eradicated already?”“No! He’s actually turned out to be an ultima wolf! My sister’s a member of the pack so I received news about their new alpha’s identity!”The whole transport area was filled with gossip about Amira and Morgan. Inessa sighed heavily listening to those endless chattering while waiting for her apprentice to finish speaking to the coachman of the carriage that they would be using on their way to Grimbell. The apprentice was right. Almost everyone’s heading to Grimbell to visit the pack of Crescent Walkers. Everyone’s looking forward to being blessed by the new luna of the pack who turned out to be a moon goddess herself.“Enchantress,” the apprentice bowed down curt
The brothers’ scene caused an uproar in the pack. As people whispered nasty things and judgmental thoughts about the two, Morgan remained still on the ground, embracing his brother’s huge wolf in his arms. Just like how he carried him back when they were both children.“It’s alright, Callum… it’s alright,” Morgan keeps on whispering on the beast’s perky ears as his younger brother whimpers.“I am sorry… I was… I don’t know what I was thinking… Oliver… He told me things—““Shhh… it’s alright. You don’t have to apologize for something like this,” Morgan said. “You can be the alpha. That is if you really want to be one, Callum. I know you would be a great leader but I don’t want you to force yourself to take up the responsibility that should have been mine in the first place.”“We’re brothers,
“Do they really have to do this? Romero?” Calliope asked her husband while crying. It breaks her heart to watch both of her sons standing in the middle of the battle stage to fight for the title of being the alpha.Never in her life did she ever expect that this could have happened. Callum and Morgan shared a strong bond ever since they were young. How it ends up right here, is something she never saw coming.Amira was silently seated beside Calliope and Monica, Callum’s mate. They watched as the brothers entered the stage. Amira can feel Morgan’s mixed feelings of guilt, worry, and love. He loved his brother. And this is the reason why he had pursued the title. He told him that Callum never liked the title. He just grew up thinking that he should have it since he trained for it, he had to take over Morgan’s responsibilities and burdens when he failed to turn and he was left with no choice but to force himself to think that he enjoys it.
