Jayden’s POV

I slow down to a halt, breathing a little. I have been running for an hour now.

I'm not sure where I am, but I'm sure it's somewhere on the outskirts of Foxtown. I had been super fast today, covering an impressive distance in just an hour.

I'm feeling elated this morning. Jovita has finally agreed to give me a chance and she spent the night in my bed. What else could I ask for?

She had barely spoken to me since my return, and I had started getting scared that she would never forgive me.

What was that about going on a date with Seth? I definitely won't allow it. Not like I could stop Jovita when her mind was made up, anyway.

At least I had a chance back with her, that was all that mattered. I would make her know, that she's only mine!

I check my Rolex wristwatch, the time is just 8:00 am. I'm to meet up with the boys soon. We've decided to up our hunt as the killing is getting more frequent, and things are getting out of hand.

It's obvious the killings are done by vampir

Jovita's POV“Where in the world have you been?” I ask Jayden, anger surging through me. I was so scared.“Chill out, mate. I only went for a run, and then met up with the brothers afterwards”, Jayden said with a smirk.“Is this funny to you?”“Are you angry, mate?” He asked with a smile on his handsome face. His deep dimples made him more handsome, and I couldn't stop staring.I reminded myself that I had to stay angry.“I have been worried sick about you!” I yell. Or rather, I want to yell, because Jayden has covered the distance between us, and his hands are on my waist, pulling me towards him. “We're you that worried about me mate? A while ago you were ignoring me”. His words made me cringe as his hands were trailing cycles on my bare arms.“I was that worried”.“Then show me”, he whispers in my ear.I'm about to protest, but I stop halfway as Jayden's lips capture mine. His kiss was passionate and hot, and I could feel every resistance I had melting.I'm still in his bedroom, so

Jayden’s POVI opened my eyes to see Jovita raise herself on one elbow and lean over me to kiss the side of my face and trail kisses along my jawline. Then she kissed my mouth. Her free hand pressed against my shoulder until I turned to lie on my back.By fuck, I thought, my interest piqued, she was going to make love to me.By the time we had reached the bed earlier, I had been so bursting with desire for her she for me, I had judged that I had proceeded without delay to the main feast. She, it seemed, was more disciplined. She was also as skilled as any courtesan-though no, perhaps that was not quite so. Maybe it was just that I was very ready to be aroused by her. However it was, she had overcome the modesty that had caused her to hesitate to remove my boxers earlier. Jovita's hands roamed all over me, stroking, caressing, pausing, rubbing, teasing in all the right places, and her mouth and her tongue and her teeth followed suit.I lay still for a while, my hands flat on the mat

  • Descendant of the moon goddess.   A strange Date?

Jovita's POV I give my reflection in the mirror one last look.I look lovely if I must say. I'm wearing a floor-length peach ball gown that perfectly complements my skin. My curled hair is packed in a high ponytail, and a few curls are left freely to fall. I applied light makeup and put on matching silver jewellery and heels. In case you're wondering, I'm going to a ball. We rarely get one here in Foxtown, and when the invitation came, I was so excited. One of the elders of the royal families of the Ancient Ones, Maddie's pack, was throwing a ball in honour of his daughter who had found her alpha and was tying the knot soon. According to the rumours, it was Mr Musk's favourite daughter, Becky, who was getting married.“You aren't going with Seth, are you?” Maddie asks, giving me a warning gaze.As you've probably figured out, my grumpy best friends are here with me, and by here, I mean in my small old room. They're scolding me for deciding to go to the ball with Seth. What about Ja

His angry eyes are fixed on Seth. We're currently sitting around a table. Me, my besties, and the white brothers. Jayden is not with us though.“Is someone hungry?” Conan asks, trying to dissolve the tension in the air. He beckons dramatically for a waiter, making everyone on the table laugh out loud. Conan was one hell of a jovial fellow. The waiter came by, took our orders and walked away.“Does bouillabaisse taste nice? I heard it's a special French cuisine. My Mom couldn't stop raving about it when she returned from her trip to France two weeks ago”, Anna said. She had just asked the waiter to bring her a serving of bouillabaisse, though she wasn't even sure what it looked like.“It's delicious and filling. The meal has always been Jayden's favourite”, Eric replied, chuckling. At the mention of Jayde

I told her it was going to be okay, but here am feeling dreadful.I take a sip from my third glass of vodka. I'm starting to feel a bit unsteady, but I don't care. The pain won't go away.I wonder if I should go up to Jovita and snatch her away from Seth, but I don't want to make a scene. I don't mind feeding Seth's handsome face a few punches, but Jovita won't want that, and the last thing I want to do is to make her angry.I start to head for the rooftop on the fifth floor, which is where I currently am. I need some fresh air, or I might as well choke to death. My wolves keep screaming in my head, making it more unbearable. As I edge closer to the rooftop, I start to perceive a familiar strawberry smell, and I hastened my footsteps. Jovita is here. When I reach the rooftop, I perceive another scent, aside from Jovita's, and I start to feel shudders running through my spine

  • Descendant of the moon goddess.   Who are you?

Jayden's POV I open my eyes as a bucket of ice-cold water splashes on my upper body. My body is very weak, from my flesh being torn open, and being healed numerous times. I’m in a large, dark, cold room, bonded to an iron chair.I can’t comprehend what’s happening. The last thing I remember is chasing a vampire and getting knocked out, now I’m here, bonded with chains. Silver chains. Silver is a fatal weapon against werewolves. Silver’s effectiveness is that its silver nitrate is highly soluble and can dissolve into a werewolf's bloodstream, carrying the silver throughout its body and killing it.Whoever bonded me in these chains was certainly not a werewolf, since we can’t touch silver. It must have been someone who knew what silver could do to us.I look around trying to decipher where I am. The movement itself sends sparks of pain through my body. It feels like my whole body is on fire.I hear footsteps approaching, and I look up to see the cold one I had been chasing earlier. He

A year laterJovita's POV“With the power bestowed upon me by our ancestors, I crown Jayden, son of Edward as the ruler of the Golden pack, and as the grand master of the werewolf kind”, Marcus says, placing the crown on Jayden's head amidst cheers. As you might have guessed, we're done with the fighting, and Jayden is being crowned. We're now all sitting in the throne room.We buried Jayden’s father a week ago, and though there's still tension in the air, the fighting has stopped, and the pack is finally willing to accept Jayden as their leader, with me by his side.Marcus turns to me with another crown in his hands, and a murmur starts to go among the crowd.“I still don't understand why we have to accept her as our Luna”, one of the elders in the crowd says.“We won, you're hardly in a position to make suggestions”, Eric says. Betty and Anne went along with the boys to fight, while Maddie stayed behind to protect me.It was agreed I wouldn't fight because of my supposed pregnancy and the fact that I was the major reason the fight was happening in the first place. It's time to fight. We're all in our wolf form, waiting for the battle line to be drawn. My uncle is visibly the largest wolf among us, though I'm slightly close to his size since I have two wolves. My Dad who insisted on fighting with us is standing a few feet from us. He is a warrior white wolf so he is almost up to my size. My pack’s council starts to walk towards us. They stop just a stone's throw from us. They're three extremely old great whites that have lived for probably a hundred years. They're revered and feared by all.“I see you went to join your son, Edward”, Castiel, one of the trio says. He is a handsome, well-built man, looking very much like he just reached his fifties. He is the leader of the trio.“He is my blood, and I believe he has a right to choose his love”, my father replies.“The pack comes before love”, Marcus says. He looks a bit older than Castiel.“I've always th

He took her body that day, seven years ago, and he never let us see her again.“Why are you suddenly letting me visit her?” I ask, trying to control the emotions raging inside me.“Because she has been asking of you. She won't let me rest if I don't help you, so I don't have a choice. My uncle runs his hands through his black long hair as he starts the car.“Does she speak to you?” I ask after a while.“Yes.
