"The temperature is turning cold."
The arid night was just as unpleasant as the day. The suns have vanished, and the moon has taken their place.
The gorgeous moonlight betrayed the night's severity. It was brutally freezing as if the night were the polar opposite of the day.
"Set up three additional fires around us because the night is going to be cold. Monsters aren't the only things capable of killing us." I stated as I piled up the final scale from the Sandcrawler to make a cover to keep the freezing desert breeze at bay.
We had already burned the bodies of the students, and to be honest, none of us felt so guilty about it. It just left a foul taste; there was nothing to be concerned about.
And I've already gotten the memo
I swerved to the side as hastily as I could. "Zing!" That high-speed arrow flew past like a bolt of lightning, penetrating the startled Gerard's neck. It punctured his neck, leaving a gaping wound behind as it sailed for a few dozens of meters before landing.Gerard's eyes widened as he clutched his throat. As fresh blood poured from his mouth, he gargled some incomprehensible words."Urgh...urg…" Gerard's eyes glowed with a yearning for life. They were filled with regret and confused thoughts, but as the blood began to gush out of Gerard's gaping wound, all life left his eyes, and he collapsed. As we ducked under the sand, the others ignored Gerard's frigid corpse."Fuck!" Moritz yelled aggressively enough for the enemy to hear him.
"1, 2, 3... 12... 18." "They gathered together, huh?" I observed, noticing the group of students rushing towards us, their expressions solemn. But it wasn't that that drew my attention. [Status] Name: Rosemarie Kaiser Race: Half-Human, Half-Spirit Class: Oracle Element: Light Level 75 (Weaken) Age: 18 [Associated Skills - Prophecy Artwork - Divine Blessing, Words of Wisdom, Ruler's Authority.] That woman has changed a lot. Her long white hair cascaded down to her hips, and she emanated a commanding presence with a stern and unwavering expression. She didn't resemble the previous seductress. I narrowed my eyes as I stared at her intently. I remember her being so frail that even the most feeble creatures would have been capable of killing her. Her oracle powers were the only thing she had going for her, yet she had quickly risen to become one of the academy's most formidable students. "Be cautious," I urged Henry. "Haha... haha. Our queen has finally arrived! "I'm going t
"We don't have a lot of time."Eliza peered out from behind the boulder she was hiding behind, looking at the monster creeping towards them."I'll buy as much time as I possibly can." She said this with an uneasy look on her face.Luke sighed as he looked between Eliza and the others. He did, in fact, have a plan to get them out of this alive.Another truth he had kept hidden even from his own family.A secret he'd like to keep for as long as he can, but now isn't the time."Eliza! Don't flee, I'll be there to support you. Instead, fight!"Luke yelled, drawing the monster's attention.Eliza
The Recon Room of the Academy. It was bustling with people from numerous noble houses vying for the leadership of the empire. There were also distinguished families present, such as the Ironwing Ducal family and the Whitepalace Ducal family."The Second Exam will be a month-long.According to the instructor in command of the recon team. The academy stated that the dungeon would not be watched, but this was really an act to allow the pupils to be free and reveal their actual selves. Many representatives were sweating profusely since they had no idea the second exam had begun. The academy was so well-kept that only a few people knew about it.E
The mountain range was enormous and appeared to stretch on endlessly.Climbing it without any preparation is clearly impossible. However, there are multiple paths that lead to various parts of the mountain range. Looking at the map, I could see that all of these paths eventually led to a single destination. And it is in that location where the sword technique is resting, ready for me to seize it.It took us a day to reach the base of the mountain, which passed quickly. Monster hunting, camping, and eating while venturing into the mountainsFinally, I was able to view all of the trails formed on the slopes of the mountains, in the crevices, with some paths higher than others, and others formed on the side of a different mountain.I had no idea what each of these paths held, so I randomly chose one that I felt comfortable with.Within it, I could see towering pine trees that were immense and ancient, standing for centuries. They were so sturdy and unyielding that it would be challenging
There were innumerable timeless trees and groves within the various routes, making passage through the mountain range difficult. The repeated necessity to travel through one slope and ravine after another made it much more challenging. The region we were traveling through contained traces of human activity, such as shrubs and weeds that had been hacked up to build a route. The sign of dried monster blood and fire."It is best to follow the road that other students have already set out for us."Henry listened intently as he moved forward."The worst mistake you can make in this dungeon is to make too much noise. This will draw the attention of several beasts to you. Even if you are compelled to make any noise, you must leave immediately unless you are positive you c
As nothing more than a spike of ice sliced through the orb, it dropped from the sky.As that dropped, magical circles began to emerge, gradually reducing it to nothingness before it even struck the earth."An obnoxious academy, do they like stalking the students?" Elias made a comment. She was able to easily track down all of the orbs that were recording their movements and took notes on each one she came across."I can't believe those three forgot to remove these before slaughtering those commoners, tch. Because of them, we shall receive a vexing scolding from our parents."Her father was not going to chastise them for murdering the commoners. Instead, he planned to chastise them for murdering them and leaving evidence.
My face stiffened as the number of monsters multiplied by a number of 10.I didn't have much of a choice; I attempted to be quiet and kill the wolves quietly, but these wolves made too much noise. I suppose not utilizing a skill at this point would be nearly impossible unless I wanted to spend the rest of the month slaying all these monsters. There were various monsters in this dungeon that everyone should avoid at all costs. One of them was the Twin-headed Ogre. And the Cold Light Wolf was one of the monsters that no student should attack or worse, kill.Jin had no idea because he had slept through most of the theoretical lectures. The
