A Mistake or A Blessing

As I stared at the two cores in front of me, I knew exactly what I had to do with them.

Combine them with my summons.

"Come forth, Nero, Skull!"

When his master summoned Nero, he was on a hunting expedition. They built the base in a dungeon, so there were usually monsters roaming here and there while Skull was on watch duty.

Wise did not allow them to feel relaxed; in fact, Wise considered them to be his own family because they were all summoned by their Master.

So he wanted them to go and get stronger, so he pushed them to go hunting and improve skills day after day. Another reason was that Wise wanted to chill a bit, and he would have more reasons to do this if Nero and Skull grew stronger.

Nero and Skull emerged as soon as I summoned them.

And they bowed down and kept still, showing reverence to their master, but it felt strange for some reason. They were my companions who’ve been with me since I first gained this power, sharing many experiences and battles with me.
