Betty and Carol had left the comforts of the counter to investigate the little garden when the scene changed again, and the thunder exploded, making the sisters return quickly under the counter.

Soon the freak weather dissipated, and the two sisters came back out of the counter and looked in the direction of their little garden. The pillars were still there, and as they entered the hedged path, they looked into the sky in case the weather came back, but the sky was clear as if nothing had happened.

“Betty, what happened? Look, there is nothing to show for the lightning strikes. I guess those pillars worked because the garden was like before.” Carol commented as they entered the garden to see if there was any damage.

“Good thing. I wouldn’t like to call Blake and report the garden being destroyed again. You know how he likes this peaceful area.” Betty said, looking around. “Let’s go. There is nothing wrong, and my ears are still ringing.”
