“Is that so? Could you enlighten this old man on what major departments Claire’s proposal lacked that would warrant your cancelation of the whole proposal instead of correcting and resubmitting?” George asked.

“Sir, it’s not my department to counsel Miss. Dalton on her proposal.” Mr. Sleizer replied nervously, looking at Henry for some support.

“Grandfather, regardless of the board’s decision, the matter is that it was lacking and therefore canceled.” Henry chimed in to help Mr. Sleizer.
