The morning sun seeped through the window. The figure that laid under the sheet on the king-size bed stirred causing the sheet to be pulled down, revealing the most beautiful head of a dark haired woman.

She blinked her eyes slowly, trying to pry the sleep away. The sun just moved and still her eyes remained closed. Her eyelashes brushed against her cheeks and soon her eyes were open.

She yawned as she propped herself up on her elbow. She was gorgeous. Her green eyes glistened in the morning light. She had full lips, and her nose, which was slightly pointed, was quite cute. She had long, silky dark hair that fell down her back in a thick mane, that brushed the sheets and got mussed. The light from the window reflected in the silk and the curls were so soft.

She raised an arm over her eyes, blocking the sunlight.

Her fingers itched to run over her hair, her skin, her neck…

She quickly sat up, the sheet falling from her body revealing her white, silk bikini.

Her body was perfect. Her thighs were small and muscular, her waist narrow and firm. Her waist was taut, firm with the muscles of a dancer. Her stomach was slightly flat, and her breasts were full. They jutted out with a perfectly circular shape and were almost half a cup size smaller than a normal C-cup.

All her body was tan, she had a nice tan and it accentuated her bright green eyes. Her lips were made for kissing.

She stood up on wobbly legs. Her bikini barely covered her curvaceous body. She didn't mind showing off the beach babe she was.

Her legs were long and graceful, her skin tanner than anyone else's. Her legs were shapely, firm, athletic. Her bikini clung to her body, hugging her curves just right.

She smirked at her image in the full-length mirror that hung on the wall beside the bed. She looked beyond sexy. She looked like a goddess.

She grabbed her purple towel, her old-fashioned high school swimmer towel, and walked into the bathroom. She stepped into the hot shower and closed the glass door behind her. Her eyes fluttered and her mind was clear.

She turned on the faucet and let the steam fill the glass stall. She tilted her head back and let the water hit her back and wash away the tension. Her nipples hardened at the intense heat of the spray.

The way her feet slipped into the water made her toes curl as she moved them. She slowly opened her eyes and let the water continue to soak her hair.

She took a sip of her coconut drink and put it on the counter as she quickly soaped herself. She massaged shampoo into her hair and rubbed her scalp. She grabbed her hair dryer and rubbed her hair to get the water out.

She let the towel drop as she stood up. Her body had glistened from the shower. Her hair was wet but dry, she had just dried it. She turned and looked at herself in the full-length mirror. Her eyes sparkled. Her face shone.

She grabbed a towel and opened the door. She stepped out, drying herself. She stood in front of the mirror, admiring her new body. She wrapped the towel around her lower half and walked to her wardrobe. She pulled out a white, silk long sleeved one-piece that hung low on her hips and gave her just enough coverage so that she didn't reveal too much of her figure.

She smiled at herself in the mirror. She looked fantastic. She checked herself out in the mirror again. She really was goddess material.

She ran her hand down the side of her body, feeling her body. She turned back to the mirror and admired herself.

There was a light Knock on the door. "Your ride is waiting to take you to the airport."

She grinned as she glanced over at the luggages lying on the floor.

After thirteen long years, she was going back home. Back to her roots. But this wasn't just a journey back home. On the contrary, she was going to rain hell on them. The people that had wronged her. The people that she had to face and make a choice for.

When she arrived at the airport, she looked up into the clear sky. Her eyes pierced the clouds as she let the wind through her hair. She didn't know what to expect. She had heard about the pain that was going to await her and she couldn't be scared of it. She was scared of nothing, she had faced far worse in her life and won.

"Li-lah!" A voice rang from behind her. She turned around to see a man in a brown suit and dark sunglasses.

She could barely recognize him but she knew that it was the right man. It was the man that had been chasing her for so long. He stopped in front of her. He didn't look happy.

"You're really leaving?" He looked at her surprised.

She smiled. "Yes, I'm going home." She leaned in and kissed his cheek. "I've been away for so long. It's time I went back."

"But what about us?"

"Daniel, I told you....

"That you're not interested in anything more than friends but it doesn't change how I feel about you. I really love you Li-lah."

"And I've given you my answer. It's not going to change now and even if it does, I'm leaving. How do we manage a relationship when we're far apart?"

"I can come over to Mexico if you want. I'm willing to do anything for you."

She smiled. "Thank you Daniel. I really appreciate the fact that you think I'm worth that trouble but I can't ask you to do that. That'll be wicked of me. Your whole life is here." She leaned him and kissed his cheek again. "Goodbye Daniel. Do take care of yourself."

"I won't give up Li-lah. I'll pursue you till you say yes. Expect to see me in Mexico." He yelled after her.

She smiled. An evil glint in her eyes. "That's exactly what I want. Take the bait Daniel."

The plane took off and the door closed. She gripped the armrests of her seat as the plane ascended into the air. The woman, who had been flying for hours, felt relief in her body. She had finally reached Mexico. The woman looked out the window and saw the ground, white sand and turquoise water below. "Home!" she whispered

She stepped out of the airplane and was greeted by the first sounds of the airport. The airport was bustling with people, cars, and noise.

She took in the air of Mexico. The heat hit her skin like a warm hug. She felt the sweat drip down her face and the cold wind hit her face with a cool breeze. She felt alive. The air was filled with salt, the smell of the ocean was intoxicating.

on the runway, the airport's bright lights shine in her eyes. The cool night air was so refreshing, and she was so happy to be back. she walked down the stairs to the terminal. The airport was so busy and it seemed like everyone had a destination, she saw a familiar face.

"bienvenida a casa amelia" she said smiling and giving her a hug.

"gracias samantha." She said returning the smile.

Samantha helped her with her luggages and they began the drive to the house.

Thirteen years was indeed a long tie..Mexico was not as she remembered it. There were a few changes. New buildings, new restaurants, new people, but the old Mexico was still there. She felt like she had been gone for such a long time that she was going to be disappointed with the new changes, but she was not. Mexico is still Mexico.

The ride to her house was long and tiring. They stopped at a gas station along the way to get some snacks and drinks to take with them on the long ride back. The drive back seemed like it took forever, but when they arrived back in the city, they felt refreshed and ready to take on their day.

"Amelia?" Samantha called In a serious tone. "You so know why you're here. right?"

"How can I forget? it's the only reason I was able to hold on the last thirteen years." She said, her voice laced with bitterness.

"It might get really dangerous."

"I'm not scared. if I were, I wouldn't have gotten in that plane."

"Good! Let nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing make you waver. You're not only doing this for yourself but also the others who lost their lives and that of their lives ones too."

"I promise."

Sam sighed. "From here on out, I am your mother and you are my daughter."

"Entendido. You should start calling me Li-lah. Amelia died thirteen years ago."

Maria’s breath quickened as Mateo and Lilah headed for the door. The thought of them talking alone sent a jolt of panic through her. If they were alone, Lilah could easily weave her lies, twist the truth, and win Mateo over again. She couldn’t allow that to happen. She stepped forward, her voice louder than before, almost frantic.“Mateo!” she called, her eyes wide with desperation. He slowed but didn’t stop. “Mateo, wait. You can’t talk to her alone. It’s a mistake. She’ll manipulate you! She’s done it before, don’t let her do it again.”Mateo paused, his hand still on the door handle, but he didn’t move to open it. His expression was conflicted, torn between the love he’d felt and the doubt Maria had planted in his heart.“Lilah,” he said quietly, his voice strained, “are you Amelia?”The room seemed to freeze. On the other end of the call was Lilah, her bright smile lighting up his evening.“Are you eating again?” Lilah laughed, her voice warm and teasing.Mateo chuckled, wiping his mouth with a napkin. “Guilty as charged. I can’t help it if I enjoy good food.”“You’re going to turn into a chicken soon,” she joked, her eyes sparkling through the screen. He grinned at her, feeling a warmth spread through him. “Well, if it means I get to see you every day, I’d happily become a chicken.”Lilah rolled her eyes playfully. “Flattery will get you nowhere, Mateo.
