CHAPTER ONE: GODS ARE NOT DEITIES.

Deities and gods are two different species, all ranging from the most powerful, being the gods, and the deities seconded by them. But because they are very similar, they were just given another name of a deity.

The only difference is that deities were once human, and were gifted with the power of immortality and each with their special abilities and responsibilities.

CHAPTER TWO: WHY DO DEITIES EXIST?

Every god has his or her deity to help them with the minor tasks when dealing with the realms.

It isn't as though the gods just found it hard to be gods, but because of the great god war that managed to slaughter a god and separate his spirit from his physical body, the power he had had simply vanished along with him and so did his mark on existence, as time flew by, every living being in countless realms had since forgotten about this god and no one knew what he did.

He simply became part of the realm of spirits. Also known as the after life.

Because of this, many gods had decided to search for worthy successors despite the fact that their chances of death were merely low and it wasn't always that the gods needed to fight against the dark gods and demons.

It was just a war that was unexpected and random. But the thought of the dark gods taking their chance to strike, they decided to announce a new rule, for a god to find mortal successors who would become their deities.

CHAPTER THREE: CHILDREN OF HIGH BEINGS

Children of the gods were put out of question to become deities since they were already heir to the throne of gods. However, not many gods had children because it was just nearly impossible to have them. Only miracles from the One could bless them with children. However, deities had the ability since they were once mortal. They could have as many children as they would want, but from their many children, only one must be able to remain in the immortal realm, whilst the rest lived as mortals in the mortal realm.

That was the rule.

The children of deities were granted immortality after the age of twenty five, that is, if they were picked to remain in the immortal realm, but, they weren't given any powers as their parents. They simply become immortal until the time has come for them to either be selected to become a deity, or killed in a war or battle.

CHAPTER FOUR: WHAT ARE THE DANGERS OF BECOMING A DEITY?

Deities are easily targeted by the dark gods and demons, since they act as a bridge to the gods and goddesses responsible for them. 'If you find the child, the mother isn't far behind'.

So they believed.

CHAPTER FIVE: MARRIAGE OF A DEITY, GOD AND GODDESS.

Deities, like gods and goddesses had to visit the oracle of life and the three thread sisters, very ancient beings and more gigantic than any god and goddess. They were the only ones who would give the deities, gods and goddess their significant others if they wanted one. However, there is a catch with the process of finding 'the one' for deities.

"Good evening ladies and gentle men, gods and goddess." The oracle of life suddenly faded into existence at the alter, slowly shaping in self into a white feminine figure. The oracle smoothly motions her hand, as though moving gracefully in water as she points towards Aubrey who stood up and placed his wine glass down to the table."Aubrey, not long ago had he asked for a soulmate to spend the rest of his time in the immortal realm." The oracle continued. "A woman who would sit beside him on his throne and reign together with him his kingdom. To have children of their own if need be, to share his love with, some to protect under his wing, someone to return the favour as well." The oracle sighed out admirably, as she always did when dictating a speech dur

Aubrey sighed out slowly as he turned to the stairs, knowing too well that the entire crowd of gods and goddess were staring at him. Others with eyes of admiration, while others with pity and annoyance that he was still too stubborn enough to go through it despite the warnings of high gods and goddesses. Others were simply annoyed that he had the audacity to call the gods less intelligent than he was, that he was somehow more intellect than they were. Amongst the vast endless void where night and day does not seem to exist, resting in an endless loop of pitch darkness, Hayes, a dark god, had lived for as far as he could remember. There was nothing he could possibly do in the dark realm except stare into the dark void he assumed was the sky. He couldn't see the moon, nor even a sun. He had never seen stars before but those little details didn't matter to him most. "I thought you were watching the great pass!" the demon lord asked as he angrily walks towards Hayes who shifted his empty gaze down at the endless pit leading into another pitch darkness as he stood at the edge, unmoving.
