Robin
IT WAS SAFE to say that after Rudolph's explanation, even the birds and nearby animals fled for safety from Robin's wrath.
Even the grasses were not spared as a ginormous light ball was now burning in the middle of the clearing, courtesy of the enraged Fay Prince.
"I can not believe you left her there alone with that monster! Who knows what he is doing to her at this moment!" Robin raged.
Rudolph shot him a regretful yet angry look. "You think I do not know that? I have been beating myself up over it every second since then, but what could I have done?
"They threatened to kill Lacey and me, and still keep Ana if we did not comply. Ana chose to make the ultimate sacrifice once again.
"I did not even get the chance to see her... to at least try and change her mind before we were kicked out of the Capital."
RobinAS THEY RETURNED to the vampire kingdom, Robin let two of his guards go before them, while the other guard and Sia's companion walked behind.Robin could not read the female witch. She spoke so little but he knew there was more to her than she was letting on. Robin was never good at figuring people out, he left that for Diana. But this witch intrigued him to the point where he wanted to know everything about her. It was a need that kept on growing the longer they spent together. He could not deny she had the most beautiful brown skin he had ever seen. It reminded him of honey and caramel. Her hair was cut to her shoulders, giving her a clean yet graceful look. However, what he loved the most were the two chocolate orbs that stood as her eyes. Her eyes held wisdom and a promise of power, but most of all, they held inner beauty.
DianaSHE OPENED HER eyes to see someone standing over her. In one swift movement, she had the person under her, with her elbow pressing against his neck."Not that this is a bad position, but I will much rather prefer you to be under me," Asher beamed.Diana looked down to see she was straddling his waist. She quickly tried to move away, but he grabbed her waist, keeping her in place. He pulled himself up, making her sit directly on his crotch. Her eyes widened and she tried again to move away, but once again, his hands restricted her."What are you doing? Let me off!" She demanded, still struggling."Keep doing that, mate," He moaned with his eyes, closing the half lid.Diana instantly stilled as she felt something growing underneath her. She shot him a disgusted look as she realized what it was."You
DianaWALKING TO THE mirror, Diana stared at her flushed face. Her neck now sported an extremely big red hickey. She could not believe she let that happen. If she had not stopped in time, she did not want to imagine what could have happened."Stupid. Stupid. Stupid," Diana said as she slapped her forehead repeatedly. This only proved that she was not as strong as she thought she was. She needed to get out now before it was too late. She could not wait for tonight as she initially planned. The matebond had been proven to be more dangerous than she expected, and she could not afford any other mistakes.(•)It was around evening that Diana got her chance. People were so busy preparing for the party tonight that no one came into her room.Diana was anxious, she had not heard from L
RudolphTHEY DROVE IN silence again, until Sia broke it. "The crazy doctor that you mentioned, can either of you describe him to me?"She looked at Rudolph, then at Robin."Do you think he is the same one that killed your mother?" Ryan asked her."If he has electric blue eyes, with the craziest blond hair in history, then we are talking about the same person," Robin responded, with a blank look on his face."Indeed, he has all those features, but this one was more beastly than human. I wonder if he went through an upgrade," she mused."Beastly? The last time I saw him, he looked normal to me," Rudolph added."Exactly. So, what do you mean by 'beastly'?" Robin quizzed.Sia tried to picture him. "Um, well, he had blond fur all over his body but he was not a werewolf. The fur just covered hi
"Those sick bastards will regret messing with me," Aiden threatened, meaning every word. With a roar, Aiden threw the phone to the wall, smashing it to pieces instantly. "Your Highness, you do realise that this marks the beginning of a war, right?" Richard asked, warily keeping a safe distance from the king. He knew Aiden was not one to make empty threats. "Does it look like I care? Those mutts will not stand a chance against me. Have you seen their army? "Also, they do not have the finances to even go to war, their economy is so bad they will not be able to afford more weapons." "Do you not think you should consult the Ministry of War about your next step of action?" Richard suggested. Aiden shook his head. "Not while they are under investigation. The Minister of Justice and the Minister of Foreign Affairs can be trusted. Have them see me first thing in the morning." "I know that you love her, but are you sure you want to start a war for one woman?" Richard asked for more
RobinAN AWKWARD SILENCE hung in the air as the others, except Sia and Ryan, looked at the human in confusion."Book? What book are you talking about? "We do not have a mobile library so I can assure you that we do not have whatever book that you seek," Robin simply said, finally breaking the silence. The leader chuckled. "I see the witch has not told you anything, since you still do not know the truth," he said, turning his gaze to Sia once again, who still stood behind Robin. "Seeing as though I am going to get the book anyway, I will tell you. I want you to hand over the Witches' Circle." Robin shot him a quick sharp glare. "Have you been drinking past your limit? Are you trying to tell me you interrupted my journey, for a book that no longer exists?""It most certainly does exist, Prince Robin, and I can assure you that I have drunk no wine. "You creatures thought all the relics were destroyed except for The Crown, but you were all very mistaken. "The book of Creation has b
Diana THE EERIE SOUND of the wind rustling in the empty field sent chills all over Diana's body. Her dreadful eyes took in the scene before her. Bodies were littered on the ground before her. Buildings were all destroyed and no one but her was in sight for miles. Suddenly, it began raining. The rain grew heavy, slashing against her body like a whip. The smell of blood was all over her. She squinted her eyes to see clearly but the rain was blinding and it did not feel normal. She raised her hand, turning it upside down allowing the rain to fall into her open palm. And, as she looked closer, it was not water but blood. The sky was raining blood. Diana lifted her foot to walk away from that place when she stepped on something… it felt like a hand. She looked down to see who or what it was. The person's face was covered with curly ginger hair, coated with blood. She bent to push the face away but was shocked to see that it was Rudolph. She let out a horrified scream, crawl
Diana HEARING FOOTSTEPS SLOWLY getting closer, Diana pushed her legs to go faster. She ran through the forest until her legs were almost not visible. But when she finally reached the border, Diana smiled, no longer hearing anyone behind her, and knew then they gave up. Stopping to take a breath, Diana felt a pressure in her head. She opened the mind link, knowing it was Asher. 'Come back at once, mate, do not make me come find you,' he warned. 'Screw you, Asher. The next time I see you, I will make you pay for what you did to me, I promise,' she informed him before closing the link. As she stood there, leaning against an oak tree, with her eyes closed, all she could ask herself was why she had not done this sooner. After a deep sigh, she opened her eyes and then she opened the pack link with Rudolph. To her greatest relief, it opened. 'Hold on for me, Dolphy, I am coming.' And then she began running again.
