Why is this happening to me? I thought everything was fine. I thought everything will go smoothly as long as Carter is beside me and that he could never hurt me but what is happening now? Why did my world suddenly turn upside down? How come that the man who promised to love me forever and the man who promised to stay by my side as long as I wish, just turned his back on me all of a sudden?
At first, I really believed that he was hiding something from me for my own sake because there was a problem: he doesn't want me to get involved. But after everything he said, after how he acted mercilessly as if he didn't have a heart, I realized that I was wrong all along. I was wrong to believe that he was acting that way for my own safety. He did all of that for one reason, because he already knew that I am not his mate and he has found the real one that is why I am no use for him anymore. He Is dropping me now because he felt nothing to me compared to the person he just met.
