39: Feeling Bothered
"Are you feeling fine? You look sick," Mom pointed out when we had our breakfast the next morning. Felix was out early so it was only the two of us.
"I'm fine," I answered plainly, trying to lighten up my mood.
The truth is, I didn't sleep soundly last night. The noise from the rain was one thing, but my talk with Carter also bothered me. I thought I'd have my peace of mind once I confirm what he is, but last night, I couldn't help thinking about him. And I know I should start disregarding thoughts about him in respect to what we both agreed with. I should keep my word to never bother him again.
