“I will not share the same room with you!” shouted Joshua. He pushed his small wife down the small flight of stairs.
Emily reaching the bottom of the stairs was panting for air. She was trying to focus her visions as they were blurred from the fall.
Joshua walked down the stairs and lifted her head to him, “I will never sleep on the same bed as you! Not before. Not now. Not ever!”
Emily had tears in her eyes. She didn’t understand why he hates her so much. Why does he despise her so much.
Joshua could see the blood on her lips and said, “Good, you’re bleeding again. More bruises and blood from that hideous face of yours.” He pushed her away from him.
Emily’s tears came dripping down her face. How sad it was for him to call her ugly.
Joshua scoffed as he didn’t care if she was crying. He stood up and said, “I want you out of here by tomorrow.”
Emily looked up at Joshua and grabbed onto the sleeve of his pants. She said, “Please, Joshua. I’m sorry. I won’t ask you to stay in the same room with me or… or even share the same bed with me…”
“Humph! As if!” Joshua kicked her away from him.
“Ahh,” cried Emily. Her thick goofy looking glasses fell off of her face.
Joshua didn’t look at Emily at all. He turned his handsome face away from her.
“Joshua, we been married for three years.”
Joshua flipped his head to her and shouted, “Exactly! You wasted three years of my life! Being shackled to a woman like you! You’re nothing but a poor and low life of a country woman!”
Emily gasped at his hurtful words. She let her tears dropped and said, “Joshua, I love you for so long.”
“I don’t care,” he was huffing out angrily.
“We have known each other for so long.”
“Doesn’t mean I have any feelings for you.”
Emily grabbed hold of her broken wrist and clenched her fist tightly to her chest. “But I do.”
“Well, I don’t!”
“Please, just let time get us to know each other.”
Joshua’s eyes blared angry at her. “Never! I never have and never will!” shouted Joshua. He walked to Emily and tilted her head to him. “I will never love you!”
Emily’s tears shimmer in her blue eyes.
Joshua hated how there was tears in her eyes and tossed her to his side.
Emily landed next to him with a thump. Her messy hair bun was all over her face now.
Emily crying said, “Joshua, we have known each other for so long. Please, don’t do this to me. At least give me some dignity.”
“Humph! You don’t deserve any! You drugged me. You forced yourself on me. You dragged me into this filthy marriage. You took away my perfect life!” He was breathing heavily by now. “You-You took away the woman I love.”
Emily gasped at his words.
“Get out of here.”
“Joshua, please. I’m your wife.”
Joshu laughed loudly.
Emily was stunned by his laughter.
“Talking about wife,” Joshua looked down at her and said, “From this day forth you and I will not have anything to do with each other again.”
“What?” questioned Emily with confusion.
“You and I will officially be divorce by tonight.”
“Joshua-Joshua. How can you kick me out just over something like this.”
“It’s because I’m tired of you. I’m tired of dealing with you and your need.”
“Joshua, we’ve been married for 3 years. You have never once touched me ever since that day.”
Joshua looked at her with a death stare and he pinched her face to him. “Never! With such low trickery of yours, I will never touch you!”
“Joshua, I’m your wife-”
Joshua tightened his grip on her and squeezed her face. “Don’t think that that excuse will work on me anymore.”
Emily’s tears dripped down her face again.
Joshua smiled at her and said, “Now that my grandfather is dead, there is no one to command me anymore.”
Emily’s eyes widened at his words.
“Where is the divorce paper?” asked Joshua, shouting at his butler.
Emily inhaled sharply.
“Right here,” said Butler Shawn.
“Good.” Joshua let go of her face with a push. He walked over to the butler and took the divorce paper.
Emily looked at Joshua and her tears were dripping down her face. She crawled over to him. Her right hand grabbed onto his leg, while her left broken hand was lifted to her chest. “Joshua, we don’t have to divorce. I will keep my distance. I will just look at you from afar. As long as I get to see your face every day and every night, that is enough for me,” said Emily.
“That’s not good enough,” said Joshua, glaring at Emily.
Emily bit her lower bottom lip. She felt her heart breaking into two. For so many years have she have loved this man. Even when they were little kids, she chased him. Admiring him. Sneaking after him. Like a stalker she followed him everywhere. She did all of that because she yearned for him. She wanted his love. His touch, his embrace, his kisses, and all of him to herself.
Emily went and did the impossible. She applied to the same high school he did. Her five uncles were furious. Instead of being homeschooled by her talented five uncles she went to chase a teenage boy who didn’t even realize her. She didn’t care that she was scolded by them, for she wanted to be with Joshua. She wanted to be close to him every single day of every single second. That first love, that first heartbeat, she wanted it to be him, always. She wanted Joshua to be hers.
Being their only niece, her five uncles agreed to let her go. They let her attend the school but under their watchful eyes. Emily didn’t mind that her uncles were watching her under surveillance, for as long as they didn’t stop her from being with Joshua she didn’t mind.
Emily studied to get the best grades so she could sit with him in the same class. When given the options she would choose the seat closest to him. She would take sneak peek at him every chance she got. Wanting his attention. Craving for his praises. Yearning for his kind words.
A year went by with little to small interactions with each other. Although Emily was sad, she didn’t let that stop her from pursuing him. She will do whatever she can to get his love by slowly opening up herself to him. For in her heart, she knew that it was him she loved. He was the only person who made her unable to breathe. He was the person who made her speechless. Made her anxious, made her heartbeat rapidly, and made her heart melt every time she sees him.
Even though their encounters was not as often or as good as when they were younger, she didn't mind. It's the little things that they did together that was enough for her. Such as him helping her grab her notebooks when it fell onto the ground, or getting her pencil sharpened for her, those were good enough for her. Or like when they ran the marathon, and she couldn’t continue anymore, and his words of encouragement was enough to keep her going. She was able to win the race due to his kind words. To her that was enough. It was enough that he cared for her, and he wouldn’t hurt her. Every small details like that was precious to her. Precious memories she kept locked inside of her heart.
…To her that was enough. It was enough that he cared for her, and he wouldn’t hurt her. Every small details like that was precious to her. Precious memories she kept locked inside of her heart.Joshua shook his leg free of her. Emily let go of his pants. He straightened himself as his pants was wrinkled from her gripped. He looked as if he was disgusted with her touch. Emily sat there on the ground with tears glistering on her face. She thought that even if he didn’t sleep with her, as long as she was able to stay next to him, it was fine. Even if-Even if she’s the only one who loves him than that’s all that counted. As long as she can still tend to his everyday needs, she is happy. She’s content with their life. For a woman’s first love it is their hardest one to let go. To fall in love at first sight is even harder to forget. For that person is forever imprinted in their heart. Even their faces will be the hardest for you to forget. Emily wept into her unbroken hand. “How is she
…They were like animals that night. They took each other to their heart’s content. While they were hot and heavy, they didn’t mind each other’s touch and embrace. They both enjoyed that night together. They went on till morning dusk. How they held each other and whispered each other’s name. That night was the most magical night for her as all her dreams came true. She was finally with the man she dreamed of. All of her years of patiently waiting for him paid off.“What? Too many memories for you?” asked Joshua, noticing she was holding onto the pictures.Emily shook her mind free of the past. She put down the photos. Then her eyes caught several other pictures of her standing in front of the atm machine. She was taking out money from her bank. They both shared the same bank but different accounts, so it doesn’t matter if he taken picture of her. It was her money that she took, not his.Joshua smiled at her and said, “That’s a photo of you taking money out of my bank account.”“What?”
Emily’s eyes widened as she saw Megan. She looked at Joshua and he stared back at her. “So, this is why,” she thought. “You’re divorcing me because she’s back. Your lover have returned.”Megan stepped next to Joshua and grabbed his arm.Joshua smiled at her. Emily chuckled and asked, “So you been gathering all these evidence for these past few years for this day, haven’t you?”“What?” asked Joshua, flipping his head back to her.“You knew she was coming back, so you prepare all of this as a parting gift for me.”“Don’t think too highly of yourself.”Tears rolled down her cheeks.“You knew that he always loved me and that I loved him,” said Megan.“Right, that’s why you slept with his nemesis,” said Emily.“I did that because you kept standing in our way. So out of anger I took it out on him. So, I made a mistake. So what? Everyone makes a mistake.”“Ha-Ha. But your mistakes is far deeper than mine.”“You-” Megan frowned deeply at her.“You took aways Joshua’s planned and project wit
“You naughty woman,” said Joshua, edging closely to her.Emily put her head down. She didn’t want to see their affection for each other. Now that the woman he loves is back, there is really nothing she could do. There is nothing stopping Joshua. For he loves this woman more than his life. Even their time during high school, no matter how many times she cheated on him, he will always forgive her and go back to her. He always does. She was the one whom he never forgotten.Emily knows that no matter how she stick by his side, he will never see her now. Even if she takes away all his worries, wipe away his sweat when he is sick, he will never realize her. He will never see her love for him.“See how they much love each other?” sneered Vicky.Emily didn’t know what to say. She was at wit’s end.“Even after all these years their affections for one another is still as strong as ever.”Emily’s tears started dripping down uncontrollably. Her heart was aching painfully. Her heart was shattering
PLEASE READ WITH DISCRETION! “Boss, our little princess is kicked out of her husband’s home,” said a man, on a walkie talkie.“Got it,” said a strikingly good looking man. “Make sure to keep an eye on her.”"Yes boss.""It's raining heavily, I need to get to her before she gets caught up in this weather. The last thing I want for her is for her to get sick."“Alright, boss, I'll keep a watchful eye on her.” The man hang up."Drive to the MacClare's home," said the good looking man.His driver nodded and the car turned around quickly and was driving over to where Emily was.Emily was strolling along the sidewalk of the street. Remnants of the past came flooding through her mind.Emily is twenty one years old this year. Joshua is twenty-four. Ten years have gone on by them like a flash within their eyes. They first met on a rainy day like today. She was eleven years old. He was not her first crush, but she was her first ‘real’ love. The first person to make her felt that her whole is ok
Emily woke up in a hospital bed. She felt her body burning all over. She felt like she had a fever and was trying to recover from it. She coughed as she was getting up.“You’re up,” said her eldest uncle, John. He was helping her to sit up.Emily nodded her head wearily.“How could you get this sick!” shouted her second uncle, named James.Emily didn’t say anything.“I knew it. That jerk couldn’t take care of you,” said her third uncle, called Jason.Emily felt their anger and had tears in her eyes.“I told you he wouldn’t love you,” said her fourth uncle, called Jordan.Emily started crying as they were all right. Correct from the very beginning. She was too blind to believe them. She didn’t know that they were all telling her the truth. She believed in her heart and her false intuition. She was too young and naïve back then. Her fifth uncle, Jack, walked up to her and put his hands on her shoulder and said, “Cheer up little princess,” his voice was soft and caring. “You will be fine

The announcer said, “Please everyone, meet the one and only Daniel Watson!”The lights dimmed and down the stairs came Daniel Watson. He came down the stairs with a big and bright smile at everyone. He was an elderly man in his sixties. He had a full set of hair. It had white hair throughout. He also had a short and stubby white beard. He was quite fit and good looking. One could tell from one look that he was quite handsome when he was young.“Please give a round of applause to our host, the big man himself, Daniel.” The crowd was clapping loudly. The announcer handed the microphone over to him.Daniel took the microphone and spoke into it, saying, “Thank you. Thank you everyone for coming to my grand ball and congratulating my granddaughter’s twenty-first birthday.”Everyone was clapping loudly at his announcement. Everyone was excited to see his hidden granddaughter that he kept so well from society. “I’m so nervous,” said Emily, standing behind the red curtains.“What is there t
“Emily are you sure you don’t want the epidural?” asked Joshua, biting his nails.“NO! I want this to be an all-natural birth. “After this one I will have it,” groaned Emily as another wave of contractions was coming.“Okay, let’s do this little one. Let’s bring our baby into the world.”Emily nodded while trying to hold back her voice. After an hour of labor their first born cries echoed the room.“How is she so quiet?” asked Vicky. She was pacing back and forth.“You weren’t?” asked Beatrice.Vicky shook her head. “I was screaming bloody hell.”Daniel was laughing at Vicky’s comment. John cleared his throat and said, “Some women tends to find it more reserve on not screaming.”“Well, I guess I wasn’t,” said Vicky, biting her fingernails. The nurses and doctors were all coming out of the room. “Have the baby come yet?” asked Daniel. One of the nurse who was attending to Emily’s need answered, “Yes.” Everyone was exclaiming with joy. Thirty minutes later Joshua brought out the ba
“I’m scared,” said Emily. She was looking wearily at Joshua one morning in their bed.Joshua woke up to Emily’s worried voice and said, “What are you worry about, little one?” He stroked her hair to try to soothe her. Last night he heard her groaning and moaning. He thought she was just having a bad dream, but it turned out it was contractions. She was going into labor. He was surprised that she was handling it rather well. Even he himself was surprised that he was handling everything rather calmly. In his head he imagined it a hundred times of seeing Emily going to labor and having contractions. He see himself as panicking and worrying himself half to death. But he knows that he needs to be the one who will have to remain calm to ease Emily’s worry away. It’s her who’s going into labor not him. He doesn’t have to deal with any pain or bleeding so he should do his best to relax. He needs to be her strength. This is the part where she needed him the most.“Joshua?” asked Emily, grippin
During the time of their announcement the whole world have come together and congratulated Joshua and Emily on their engagement and baby news. It shocked everyone at first that the one marrying Emily was not Jack but Joshua. Some fans were angry and upset that Joshua had stolen Emily. Joshua, however, claim that he has never stolen Emily, for she was always rightful his. for stealing Emily. He told the world of his love for Emily and how they met and how he fell in love with her. His long time love and commitment to her was indeed touching.Jack also took a stand and explained that it was staged to find the culprits who were set to ruin the Watson’s future. And with the help of the news and media spreading words of the false claims of Megan and Gary’s deceptions society have fully understood their reasoning.Everyone from everywhere agreed that Joshua was indeed a perfect fit for Emily, who’s the only living heir to Daniel Watson. The man who created everything from nothing. His money
“This calls for a celebration,” said Daniel.“Yes, it sure does,” said Jack. He took out some shot glasses and poured some liquor into them. He handed everyone a cup.“Umm,” said Emily, she looked at Joshua as the liquor brought back horrible memories.Joshua noticing Emily’s grim look said, “Don’t think too much, it’s your family. They wouldn’t drug us. Or try to do anything horrible.”Emily tried to wave their past aside.Joshua tightened his hold on her and said, “Plus, it’s to congratulate us,” he whispers.Emily’s face brightened at the comfort of her husband’s words. “You’re right, it’s time we let go of the past.”“Yes, let’s start anew yeah?”“We should. It’s been a very, very long time and it’s about time that we both moved forward.”“Yes, from this day forward no more secrets.”“Alright.”“Cheers!” exclaimed Jack. He down his cup of shot and so did everyone else.“Whooa!” came Jame’s shocked voice of the strong liquor.“That is good, but also deadly,” said Jordan. “I need so
“Of course, heaven-” said Daniel sounding excited and also frustrated as he couldn’t wait any longer for the results. “You two now waving around the baby’s gender in front of an old man’s face making me eager to know. And if you two aren’t going to tell me, that is just cruel. Especially leaving me like this, hanging, I can’t bear it. Absolutely not. I have to know,” grunted Daniel, with much need to know if it’s a boy or a girl.“Alright, let’s do it,” said Emily. “Everyone is here.”“That’s right,” said Vicky stepping behind Joshua and Emily.“Mother,” said Joshua.“Vicky,” said Emily.Vicky looked at Emily and corrected her, “Mother.”“Oh, mother,” said Emily, smiling at Vicky.“Go on, let us know what you two are having?”Joshua flipped through the paperwork and frowned.“What?” asked Vicky.“What?” questioned Emily, following Vicky’s same word.“What is it?” asked Daniel, nearly shaking with excitement.“Go on, do tell,” said Beatrice.Emily leaned into Joshua and saw the photo a
“Emily!” exclaimed Daniel. He hugged his granddaughter with open arms. “Oh, thank god you’re safe.”“Yes. I’m alright,” said Emily, with saddened eyes.“What’s wrong?” asked Daniel, noticing her teary expression. He looked at Joshua. Joshua sighs as Emily was about to tell him what she almost did.“Grandfather, I almost- I almost made a mistake last night.”“That is-”Daniel, doing what he usually does, held up his hands and said, “Stop! I don’t want to hear about it. As long as you and my great grand kid is fine, that’s all that matters.”Emily bit her lower lips as she wanted to tell him but since he didn’t want to know she was relieved as she didn’t have to disappoint him with her near failure of a granddaughter’s actions.Joshua held her closely against his body. “It’s alright Emily. He forgave you.”Emily nodded her head.“Emily, you’re really a headache. I swear, raising the five boys was not even as hard as raising you, the only girl among the family,” said Daniel, pointing his
There was a loud knock on the door and Joshua woke to the sound.“Who’s that?” asked Emily. She pulled the blanket over her naked body.“I don’t know,” said Joshua. He got up and said, “Stay here.” He went to peek out the window. It was her uncles and her grandfather.Emily was looking around for her clothes, but they were scattered all over the floors and she was picking them up one piece at a time to put them on.“Your family is here,” said Joshua, kissing her on the forehead.“What? Really?”“Yes. Put on your clothes. I will go talk to them.”“Alright,” said Emily, putting on her bra and slipping on her thong.“Joshua, you won’t- You won’t argue with them, right?”“No, but I do need to let them know that I intend to make my vows in front of them.”Emily smiled sweetly at him.“I intend to keep you. No more separation.”“Okay, I will follow once I’m done.”Joshua nodded his head. He put on his sweats and didn’t even bother to put on his boxer. He slipped his jacket over him and walk
Emily stepped into the water. She felt her baby kicking as her feet touched the cold water. She started to tremble in the freezing water. Last year during this time Joshua saved her from drowning. How she wished he didn’t. Maybe if he didn’t, she wouldn’t have hurt so much as she is today. Her legs edge her into the deeper end of the water. Joshua, seeing Emily going into the water, panicked. She can’t swim. “Oh, what if she is trying to commit suicide. Is she trying to take herself out by drowning?” he questioned. His heart races as he thought of seeing her lifeless body floating in the water. Fear gripped his heart. He ran to her with every ounce of breath he had. Taking off as fast as he could like a shooting star. He was screaming out her name, “EMILY!”Emily froze as she thought she heard Joshua’s voice. But then a faint smile came upon her face as she thought it wasn’t him. It was just her imagination. He couldn’t be there. Not in a million chances. After what he said to her th
“Huh? Done what?” questioned Joshua. “She text all of us about leaving,” said John, walking behind Jack. “What?” asked Joshua. Then suddenly his phone ding. He also got a message from Emily. On the message says, “I am leaving. Don’t look for me. Don’t search for me. I will be with my baby now. Love Emily. Joshua shook his head in confusion. This morning, they were just talking. She didn’t say anything about going anywhere. And if she did, she couldn’t have gone far. She wouldn’t do anything to harm herself or her baby. She love that little growth inside of her as much as she loves him. She wouldn’t do anything to make the both of them regret. That is especially him. Then he thought back to what Emily said to him before he left. “Oh no, is she really going to make me live a life of regret?” he thought. “What happened?” asked Jack. “What do you mean what happened?” questioned Joshua, wanting to punch the shit out of this man. “Emily was so happy this morning that she was going t
