/-Raven-/

“What is happening here?”

So many thoughts were running through my mind, so many questions, so many things I needed to know.

The girl stood there, bleeding and sobbing with her mother trying to clean her up.

Azaiah turned to me, “Declan did something really terrible. I would have never thought that he would descend so low.”

“What are you talking about?” I demanded. “What did Declan do? What are you accusing him of this time?”

“Accusing him?!” Azaiah repeated with disbelief. “Are you being serious right now?”

“What happened?” I sighed.

“He tried to rape a child!” He dropped the bomb and my blood ran cold. “We heard her screaming and begging him to let her go.”

My jaw opened and closed several times but I couldn't get a word out. Declan did what?

“See, I was shocked as you are! I know Declan can be possessive and a arrogant piece of shit, but I didn't think he was a paedophile!”

“Stop saying that about him!” I snapped before I even realized it. “There has to be some sort

/-Raven-/“Leave?” I repeated. “Are you serious right now?” He turned away from me to hide the hurt in his eyes but it was already too late. I could see them and it broke my heart. “Yes, I am very serious, Raven. The entire point of you coming here was to hear my side of the story, right? I have told you just that and if you wouldn't believe me then there is no point.” I stood there for almost a minute, speechless. What was I supposed to do in this situation? Believe him or the child? In as much as Declan was my mate, I've come to know him as someone who wouldn't deny his actions. He would do it and rub it in your face. But what were the chances that an eleven year old was making that up? What reason did she have to fake it, to the extent of hurting herself?I released a confused sigh. Since there was nothing more to be said, I decided it was better to leave and probably cool my head. As I turned away, his words stopped me. “Just before you leave, I want you to remember somethi

/-Raven-/“Uhmm… what do you mean by that?” I asked. I just managed to convince Azaiah to give him a chance to prove his innocence and the next thing he says is don't bother?“Declan…” I called with warning. “You know is not the time for pride, right?”“This had nothing to do with my ego, Raven. I didn't do it and proving it will not be a problem, I just don't think he will appreciate my methods,” Declan said and Azaiah cast me a look. “What methods do you mean?” Azaiah asked.“Compulsion,” Declan shrugged. “She will be compelled to speak the truth or suffocate to death. The longer she resists speaking the truth, the more she bleeds from her eyes, ears, nose, every fucking hole in her body, until she drops dead and…”“Declan!” I gasped and those silver eyes narrowed emotionlessly at me. “What? Works on wolves all the time,” he shrugged.“She is a child!” Azaiah exclaimed. “You don't expect us to watch you subject her to torture after the trauma she has been through!” “She has been

/-Azaiah-/“So, did you like it?” He asked and my eyes moved to the doorway where Nile stood, crossing his arms. “Excuse me?” “The Alpha. He's in prison now. You can have the woman of your dreams, though I still don't think you should trust women,” he said. I dropped the glass in my hand. “Wait, let me get this straight. You're asking if I like the fact that the Alpha tried to rape a child or the fact that he is just in prison?” I asked.Nile chuckled and made his way into the room, “I don't see why you have to analyse that, your highness. The lady is all yours, that is the most important thing.”I crossed my arms, more stupefied than I was earlier. “Did you, by any chance, have something to do with it, Nile?” I asked suspiciously.“And why would you think that, Your Highness?” He chuckled. “I am not allowed to express my opinions anymore?” That triggered my suspicion even more. It was more like he was growing into someone I couldn't recognize. I mean, he was quite fine before th

/-Declan-/Something terrible was about to happen and I could feel it in my bones. It concerned Raven.I know I wanted to give them a chance at a fair trial, but hurting my mate was not part of the bargain. They had no right to touch even a hair on her head. I called Tim through the mind link to come with men. I felt a little too weak to break myself out through those iron bars. In what seemed like thirty minutes, I heard grunts outside and soon Tim appeared in the dark hallway with the keys to my cell. He opened it and I immediately sped past him to look for Raven. I tracked her to a room where I had no idea what was going on. I kicked it open immediately and the sight before me rendered me speechless. Raven was on the bed, pale and naked. She looked almost lifeless and Azaiah was sitting on top of her with a blade in his hand. A strange woman was also present, muttering some incantations and Nile was the one who moved to stop us.“What are you doing here? You shouldn't be here…”

Whatever you think she did, she didn't do it,” Francesca said and Othelia raised a brow in confusion. “What are you talking about?” She asked, eyeing me suspiciously. “What did this snake tell you?” Snake? Wow! I couldn't even get mad at her because I was indeed a snake and it was all for the Alpha. Someone who had eventually gone in search of Raven without caring how the rest of us were going to fare without him. I wasn't certain he hasn't found her yet. Else, he would he back here to stop this sorceress. But I wasn't one to talk. “There is so much going on that you missed. There's a skinwalker in the palace and some evil sorceress, I presume has taken over the seat of Luna.” Othelia looked even more confused. “What the hell are you talking about? What skinwalker? Lisa was thrown into the cell right next to me and Hannah helped

/-Declan-/The volcanic air was thick and scorching, the molten lava below casting an eerie orange glow against the jagged rock walls. Azaiah and I stood on the edge of a wide plateau, the heat radiating around us. His clan, the dragons, watched from a safe distance, their glowing eyes piercing through the shadows. My men stood at the edges, their expressions tense but ready to intervene if needed.“You should’ve stayed in your little pack,” Azaiah sneered, his voice as sharp as the fiery cracks beneath our feet. “This is my kingdom. Here, you’re nothing but a trespasser.”I ignored the heat licking at my skin and locked eyes with him. “You hurt my mate, Azaiah. That’s not something I’ll forgive. And it doesn’t matter whose land this is. You’ll answer to me tonight.”His laughter was low and mocking. “Do you hear yourself, wolf? On dragon territory, in a fight with a dragon king? Bold of you to assume you’ll survive this.”Without another word, he lunged at me, faster than I expected

/-Amelia-/A smile curled on my lips as I watched him through the mirror. He was coming home. My Alpha was returning home to me. I couldn't wait for him to see me. It was the final stage to complete the ritual. We were going to make sweet, sweet love, and then, he would be fit to rule by my side. For years I have waited for the perfect man to come my way. The half-witch, half-wolf with a heart of ice. My very own destiny.Even though our happiness would be short-lived because the minute I conceived, he would die, we would still be happy. The ritual has consequences and I'm certain this was one he could easily bear. There was a knock on my door and I groaned. Who was that fool with the audacity to knock on my door?I glanced at the door and it flew open. A group of servants walked in, eyes on the ground, bodies trembling as they struggled to hold on to the trays they carried. “I don't remember sending for you,” I said coldly and they exchanged glances. “You… you did, your Grace… ea

/-Raven-/My head was spinning. It felt like I had been through hell and back. I was on Declan's back, face buried in his soft fur. I tried to remember what happened a while back but there were so many gaps. I managed to lift my head from his back but it felt like my head was going to split in two. ‘Go to sleep, Raven,’ I heard Rolfe's voice in my head. “What happened?” I asked him.‘Let’s deal with that headache first,’ he said instead. I rested my head back because he had a point. I eventually managed to fall back asleep and by the time I woke up, we were halfway to the pack. The headache had reduced so I was thinking clearly now. I remembered walking into the rook because Azaiah said Aisa and her mother were waiting there and the next minute he made me inhale something that shut my entire body down. But what happened after that? Where was Azaiah and how did I end up here?“What happened?” I asked but everyone was in wolf form so only Declan could respond to me. I waited for R

/-Skylar-/I hit the ground running and hurried to Ava's side."No, no, no!" I gasped, catching her before she collapsed completely. Her body was trembling, her wide eyes filled with shock and pain as blood seeped from the wound in her chest. My hands were shaking as I pressed them against the injury, desperate to stop the bleeding. "Ava, stay with me! Please!"She coughed, her lips parting as if she wanted to speak, but only a weak wheeze came out. Tears burned my eyes. This wasn't supposed to happen. She had nothing to do with this. Diane had no right—I snapped my head up, fury roaring through my veins. "You bitch!" My voice shook with rage as I glared at the woman responsible for this. "I’ll kill you!"Diane merely tilted her head, her expression unreadable. "Anger won’t bring her back, Raven."I snarled, gripping my blade. She thought this was a game. She thought I wouldn't make her pay. But before I could lunge, Ava weakly grasped my wrist. "Sky… don’t…"My heart clenched. Even

/-Skylar-/I decided to pay Ava a visit. I was so caught up in my own life that I forgot that Skylar had a freaking best friend. Kai was out with Anders so I decided to visit her alone. Even though he told me to tell the driver to take me wherever I wanted to go, I was more comfortable using a cab. I had this strange feeling that I was being watched. I took a glance around but I couldn't find anyone suspicious. Then almost on insist, I entered the cab just a few seconds before the bullet sped past me, hitting the side mirror of the car behind. What the fuck? What is this now?The cab driver was frightened of course and drove off without a second thought. It was a good thing, even though it was somewhat annoying. It didn't take long for me to spot the bastards who shot at me. I wasn't even in the mood to have a conversation with them, to know who sent them or anything. I just wanted to return the favour and go see my friend. I took out my trusty blades. Yup, still wasn't a gun pe

/-Taylor-/“We need to find that girl.” I looked at them in disbelief. They just woke up and all they can think about is causing more trouble? After everything that happened?“She must not get away with what she did to us. She has to pay!”I didn't say a word as I watched them discuss amongst themselves. They didn't even notice the scars on their hands. They were busy obsessing over the girl that put them in the hospital. “We won't go easy on her this time. That good-for-nothing had the audacity to lay her jands on us. By the time we are done with her, she will regret being born.” “Are you two done?” I cut them short and their attention turned to me. “Brother…” They pouted simultaneously. “Can you even listen to yourselves? You just woke up and all you are bothered about is the girl that put you here. Did you even notice the marks on your hands?” I huffed and they looked down at the same time. Their eyes widened with horror as they screamed.“What is this?” “Who did this?’ “Wa

  • Dear Alpha, You Are Not My Type!   A deal

/-Amelia-/Lisa just wouldn't do. Her methods were way too slow. We could end up waiting an entire year or more for Diane to show up. Or worse, she might not even show up at all. I couldn't bear the thought of spending another year in this hell hole. So I decided to take matters into my own hands. If she wouldn't come to me then I would simply go to her. I was already dressed and ready to leave when Taylor suddenly showed up. I groaned inwardly but tried not to let it show. “Mother, they are awake!” He announced. I assumed he was talking about his sisters whose names I forgot every single time. “My! That is good news,” I feigned a smile. “I will make sure to see them when I am back.” His smile immediately dropped. “Seriously?” “What?” I retorted almost impatiently. I had an appointment I needed to catch up with and all this small talk was only slowing me down. “I said I will see them when I get back.” “Your daughters just woke up from a terrifying coma and all you can do is bru

/-Kai-/Everything made sense all of a sudden. Of course, my mother would be here. What even made me think she would just die and I would just live. I headed to the room to see Raven. I didn't understand why she didn't tell me about this earlier. It didn't even sound like something she should hide from me. She has no reason to.Skylar sprang to her feet the minute she saw me. “Is she gone?” She asked.“Why didn't you tell me?” I asked her instead. “Tell you what?” Her brows knitted in confusion. Now was definitely not a good time for her to pretend as if she didn't know what I was talking about. I was trying my best to stay calm right now. “Are you seriously asking me that?” I growled. “Fine, I'll tell you so you won't have any excuse. I am talking about my mother and Amelia being here. You didn't think I had the right to know that?” On hearing that, her shoulders slouched and I immediately knew Lisa was telling the truth. “Why? Why did you keep it away from me knowing the harm

/-Sally-/“Do you want to come with me or should we leave?” He asked when he returned. I just had this feeling that there was something different about him although I couldn't exactly tell what was so different about him. The mystic did warn that the love charm was going to wear off soon now that I was going for a different goal. I was supposed to stab her while Declan was still under the spell, otherwise it would become difficult to actually get her. This spell was supposed to be a trick to get Raven to fight me so I could stab her, now that I failed, I wasn't sure what to do. “I… I think I'll just go,” I told him and he frowned. “Why? You just got here,” he said. “Yeah but your little worker just ruined my mood. You couldn't even defend me against her,” I huffed.“She hit me in the balls, what was I supposed to do?” He asked and I gave him a look. What was he supposed to do? What happened to defending your woman even when your life is on the line?I was certain he was only doin

/-Skylar-/The release was instant and I was able to move before she buried that knife inside me. Sally staggered forward, almost falling from the miss. I stood aside watching them both with annoyance. I understood Kai was not himself but it was just so fucking frustrating at this point. Why couldn't he just be immune to whatever it was they used on him or better still, avoid it? Sally glared at me. “Are you just going to stand there and watch her do this to me?”She was referring to Kai but he was more concerned about his sore balls. She hissed and grabbed the knife again. “Can I know the reason for this pointless fight? You came in here with Kai and I didn't even bother you. I let you have him and all you could think about was trying to attack me? Are you retarded?” I asked her. Sally paused for a second and I really hoped she was reasoning my words because I would not hesitate to kill her this time if she dares launch another attack on me. She suddenly chuckled. “Right! /-Skylar-/Why wasn't he home yet? It was almost 3am. He told Anders to inform me that he was on his way back. I even made dinner for him. If he changed his mind, he would have called Anders, right? I paced the room, unable to sleep. I was so worried about him. A few minutes later, a car drove in and I hurried downstairs. It was him. It had to be him. However, what I didn't expect was for him to show up with Sally. What the hell was she doing here and why was he looking at her like that?“What's going on here?” I asked. What the hell was Declan doing with her?“Hello, Skylar,” Sally said with a sickening smile. “I didn't realize I was intruding. Declan insisted I come home with him.” My eyes darkened. I turned to Kai but I could barely recognize the look in his eyes. There was something different about him, I could tell. What the hell has this cunning woman done again?“Skylar, who I bring to my house is none of your business. You should learn your place!” Kai said harshly to me.

/-Sally-/Did it work?He was just staring at me, unmoving. I took a step closer, unsure if I should get closer or not. “Declan?” I called softly and his eyes twinkled. “My love…”I stepped out of the fog and a big smile broke out of his face. It worked! Oh goddess, it really worked!I squealed and ran into his arms. “Deee! Oh goddess, I can believe this. You're really mine!” I could barely contain the happiness in my chest. This was the best thing that had happened to me since I landed in this godforsaken place. The man I have been chasing for so long was finally going to be mine. I pulled away just to look into his beautiful eyes. “Do you know who I am?” I asked him. He slowly reached for my face, caressing it softly. “How could I not know who you are, Raven?” My smile immediately dropped. “Raven?” “Yes,” he stepped closer. “I finally found you after so long. I searched for you everywhere and now I have finally found you.” My happiness died down immediately. The plan was fo
