Jaxson POV

The pin and needle pain shot through my arm but I dared not to move in fear of waking Scarlet up. The sun was barely visible but my nerves were already shot. How the fuck am I suppose to let my pregnant fiance, mate and luna to fight to the death with an ex fling? Rolling over, I tried to reposition my shoulder to allow blood flow to my fingers with no such luck. Instead, I settled for placing my hand over her stomach to feel for any kicks. My little boy didn’t disappoint as soon as I placed my hand on her stomach, he started kicking away.

“That is one way to be woken up, by the little demon trying to get out of you.” Scarlet yawned.

“He is not a demon!” I shook my head at her description of what it felt like to feel the baby’s kick.

“No uterus, no opinion” Scarlet rolled her eyes at me but was smiling.

“How much longer till we will finally know if it is a boy or girl?” I asked as I retracted my arm. Shaking it to allow the blood to flow back to my fingers.

    Jaxson POV“I’m here!” I yelled as I sprinted into the hospital. The glass shattered behind me but all I knew was that I needed to get to Scarlet. “GET IN HERE!” Scarlet yelled.
