Scarlet POV It’s been almost a week since I found out I was pregnant. Overall, I have been feeling okay, still get nauseous in the mornings mostly but I have been able to hide it from everyone. Jaxson POV “Alpha! Rouges invading on the East border!” I got an urgent mind-link from a warrior that sounded like he was already engaging in a fight. “FUCK! Rouges are attacking, East border. Go to the office and lock the room down!” I practically yelled at Scarlet before kissing her and running out the door. “Mason! Rouges, East border. Scarlet POV “Jackson said we can go back to our rooms.” I told Courtney as I pressed the clear button on the emergency panel. “That was weird. Must not have been very big to already be over.” Courtney shrugged. “I guess. Hopefully, everyone is okay.” Opening the door, Courtney headed for her room. “I am going to go check on the people at the hospital.” “Okay, goodnight!” Courtney waved and kept on walking. I walked to the front door and started going to the doctor’s office. I can’t believe I am willingly going back here. The whole place gave me the creeps. The stars were out and shining brightly as the moon cascaded light to the ground below. It was absolutely beautiful at night. The magical feel of being hidden in the shadows but the natural light leading the way was something I will always cherish. As I approached the hospital, the lights were on and people were going in and out. Some crying and some smiling. Taking a deep breath, I opened the front door and headed inside.

Jaxson POV The hot water spraying my back was doing little to ease the tension I was feeling. It was five fucking a.m in the morning. Pretty sure I didn’t sleep at all.
