Raymond strode into the pack house, followed closely by his officials.

“You seemed distracted earlier. Where are you headed?” inquired Theta Pedro.

“They aren’t my superiors,” Raymond responded.

“But what if they try to harm you again?” questioned Gamma Glen. A sense of protectiveness surged within him at the thought of any harm coming to his Alpha. His wolf felt resolute about ensuring Raymond’s safety.

These officials were not ordinary humans but werewolves with an unbreakable connection to their Alpha.

“This party was a trap to lure them in. I have never planned to kill them in my pack anyways,” Raymond explained.

“But what if they try to hurt you again?”

“They know I’m already aware of the truth. They wouldn’t dare. But do you really think they’d risk poisoning me in my pack?”

Raymond chuckled, “Of course, my people helped them.”
