"Are you okay?"

Keith asked Jennifer as his eyes were on the road. He was driving the car while glancing at her from time to time.

Jennifer was at first relieved that Keith was totally fine because she had just dreamed about her past.

But now she was feeling astounded when she realized everything that had happened before she fell unconscious.

"No, I am not." She mumbled and stared at the road.

Tears welled in her eyes when she came back to reality.

"He wants to kill me." She let out a whisper.

She was lost in the thought of why Raymond decided to kill her.

After their wedding, she confessed to him many times about her love. She had even concealed her birthmark and caged her wolf to stay with him.

But...

Why did he do that?

"He wants to kill me." Once again, she whispered those words.

"Jennifer"

"He wants to kill me."

Though Keith called her name a few times, she only murmured the same thing again and again.

As if she were traumatized, she flinched when Keith touched her hand that was
