Jennifer realized that she had not brought any guards with her. But she was merely going to see a friend. She did not need any security there.

So she started typing on her phone.

"I don't need any security. I am going to meet April."

She assumed he would not respond. But she was wrong. He replied to her message.

"I am sending guards after you."

"No need."

"Why didn't you receive my calls?"

"I don't need to. You should be busy with your work, Alpha. Focus on that."
