She extended her hand. "Give me these bags."

Raymond passed her and went to the kitchen. He placed them on the kitchen counter.

She closed the door and went to the kitchen.

"These were heavy." He mumbled and left the kitchen.

Jennifer did some searching and came across the knife. She took it in her hands and immediately began peeling the vegetables.

It took her an hour to prepare lunch.

In that tiny living room, there was a table that was just big enough for two people. So she brought the dishes there and placed them nicely.

"Alpha, lunch is ready."

Raymond was in the bedroom when Jennifer called him. He came out of the room and was surprised.

Jennifer had cooked so many dishes with just a few types of vegetables.

"You cooked all of these?"

"Yeah." Jennifer replied softly. But her tone was not so exciting. Raymond knew that she had been ignoring him for the last few months.
