Kingdom of Vencia A month some days has passed since the claim on Vencia, the Drokan people were now wholly settled in Vencia - the damaged buildings have been put in good form, they had even placed a market, not for sales but for distribution of needed supplies. The royal compound was also set in place, the walls around about were demolished and four towers, tall wooden made structures were undergoing construction at four points of the compound. Three cottages stood on each side of the compound while another at the middle, on its slate made roofing hung a pole, bearing the emblem of the Drokan Clan – fluttering majestically to the calm flowing wind. Before the middle cottage, Dorak Herra sits on a chair like throne made of ironwood, dark as night having a well-polished surface looking like silver. Covin stood by his side with two of his brothers while two other sons stood by the other side - they were all cloaked in green hooded cape. A short distance from Dorak Herra, five men in
Elroy gazed up at the dusking sky, trotting Celsius along a track having short grass field and few horse-chestnut trees by each side – stretching far and wide. After a while he came to an intersection were an Inn stood. The Inn seemed cracked up with people, low enticing sounds from pipes played out creating a calm relaxing environment. On the balcony of the upper floor, a large crowd was seated, drinking and cheering. Elroy trots Celsius over to the wooden hitching post under a white tent, where seven other horses were tied to. As soon as he dismounts Celsius the main door into the Inn burst open, allowing a bloody man to fall backwards to the ground. Elroy stood and watched as the man struggled to stand - leaping as fast as he could, trying to get away from the Inn. Suddenly two dark-skin ladies, with long brown braided hair hurried out from the Inn, they were dressed in lucid green silk gown, holding a whip. Both ladies showed no pity, they lashed the life out of the man; everyon
Nacroy Margret’s tavern was a bit scanty for it was still very early, but a few people still chatter about, some from last night going home, others working and a few seated at the corridor of the Inn having a drink. Elroy walks out of the Inn feeling refreshed from the hot bath, he peered over to the tent were Celsius was only to see three filthy looking men searching the saddle bag on Celsius. “What’s going on here?” Elroy yelled, reverting everyone’s attention at him, “Celsius, really? Even after the good treatment” Celsius glanced at him then went back to eating the hay before him. “You named your horse?” One of the unclean men asked worriedly. Elroy recalled seeing them in the market-place; they were same men following him. “That’s not the problem here,” Elroy assured as he walks towards them “what are you doing over there?” “What does it look like, we are checking for the silver,” the taller man of the three spoke with confidence, wiping the snot from his nose. “What silve
In a section of Margret’s tavern covered roundabout with a red thick curtain, Elroy sits opposite Margret; staring at her as she drinks from a mug. “If only you know what’s going through my mind right now.” Elroy spoke crossly. Margret places her mug on the round table in between her and Elroy then drew closer at him with a smile, “I’m sorry El, I can’t have sex with my son.” “What kind of mother are you?” Elroy was disgusted and worried. “Wow! You called me mother.” Margret praised. “Don’t flatter yourself woman, start talking, why did you leave?” “I was young and foolish and confused.” She took another sip of rum from her mug. “Fantastic, congrats on that" Elroy looks away. Margret glances at him, “Alright, I’ll tell you” she sighs, seeing how serious Elroy looked. “It was my thirteenth year as a maiden and a rule in Urania has been in place that all those with unique fighting style will be taken to the Kingdom of Riana for proper training to become Kings guards.” “I don’t r
Waters of Ramenia A ship drifts through the deep-blue sea raging on its sides, on deck the ship a company of Knights vested in purple armor struggle to keep the sail of the main mast and foremast in order as the howling wind beats against them. By the starboard a bit close to the bridge stood Prince Fredrick, calm and still, clenching hard on the shrouds while gazing at the beauty of the setting sun. "You are pretty good at hiding your fears Prince.” Eslar noticed as she approached. “It’s not good enough if you noticed” As soon as Eslar got to Prince Fredrick she clings unto his hand, “First time at sea?” “First….First time on a ship actually.” Prince Fredrick spoke confidently, trying to keep the pressure arousing through him on check. “I find that fascinating and hard to believe” “I get that a lot, on so many things” “Then there’s more to you that meets the eye.” “You will be very disappointed Commander” Prince Fredrick narrowed his eyes at her. “Let’s start with you callin
Nacroy Not too far from Margret’s tavern, Elroy sits under a horse-chestnut tree, watching the flickering stars while enjoying the serenity the falling blossom created as the warm wind breezes through the surroundings. "Beautiful isn’t it” Margret marveled at the sky as she approached Elroy. “I don’t need your company.” Elroy spoke irately. “I know.” She sits beside Elroy groaning slightly, “I just came to say I’m sorry, I don’t deserve your forgiveness but I’m still going to apologize anyway. I’m sorry, I’m sorry for abandoning you, I’m sorry for not loving you enough to stay when I should have, I’m sorry for being a fool and a coward, I’m really sorry El. You didn’t deserve to grow without a mother’s love, please forgive me.” “You should really learn how to apologize because you are bad at it.” Margret chuckled, “I’ll do just that.” “After everything, why are you not with your beloved?” “My so-called beloved tried to kill me.” “Glad to hear you got what you deserved.” “Don’
About half a mile from the walls of Riana, just before the glooming woods, Elroy stood beside Celsius holding a large sack. Immediately he mounted it on Celsius a familiar stench came upon his nose, he tried grasping what it was when a flash of light shun behind him, not too bright, but enough to cast a huge shadow in front of him. Elroy instantly turned around, holding unto the hilt of his sword, ready to cut the enemy down, but what he witnessed was unexpected. He trembled at the sight of the bloodcurdling evil he beheld, for the aura protruding out of the Behamolt signified death. As soon as Elroy got hold of himself a swipe from the beast sent him spinning into the air, with a brutal force he lands on the ground meters away from the creature. The Behamolt saw no pity in devouring Celsius, it clawed and ripped it limbs from limbs, chewing and nibbling its insides. It was unexpected, Elroy should still be able to move, but he couldn’t – from the fear or the fall, he wasn’t sure,
Kingdom of Riana As the day drew dark, the north section of the fifth district became lighted up and was crowded, for everyone returned to their various homes and others ending their various activities. In the mist of the crowd, the Behamolt - still using Elroy's form stood and watched everyone. How do I get to the west section of the sixth district, he thought. "Excuse me" a male voice spoke from behind Elroy, he quickly turned around to know who it was. "Are you lost?" Tihon Rooks asked. "Ah yes, I know I'm in the fifth district, but how can I get to the West section of the sixth district?" "Continue down this Street until you see a bridge,” Tihon gestured, “it leads directly to the West section of the sixth district." "Thank you very much, may I have a drink with you for this kindness." "Maybe next time...." "I insist sir, it'll make me happy." "Alright, there's a place we can go nearby," Tihon said, walking pass Elroy, "come with me." In a pub with few people, Elroy sits
Rune Clan The gruesome clash raged on in the main streets and alleys, wailing and death cries rose up as fragrance accompanied by the resounding of clashing swords. Commander Eslar lifts her sword up with a shout then slashed down on a Drokan Soldier’s head before kicking forward against his chest, making it easy for her to yank the sword out. From her rare another Drokan Soldier slashed at her, which she deflects with her shield before plunging her sword into his neck; she pulled the sword out allowing him to drop down, giving view to a teenage figure vested in green hooded cape - wielding a steel spear with curved blades at both ends. “Such a young fellow, but yet a killer, God have mercy on these savagery.” Eslar was not prepared to hold back. Another Drokan Soldier charged at Eslar with a slash but she eluded his attack then sliced his lower belly with a clean cut, allowing his guts to drop out. “The battle field is no place for a woman." The lad spoke in the northern tongue,
By the waterfront of Rune Clan, ten sail-ships were anchored, there was no sign of the town folks, the dockyard was in disarray as well as the market and it was as though everyone left in a hurry. By the front-rare of the ship Commander Eslar stood beside Prince Fredrick, surveying the numb-still town. “This feels like a trap.” said Prince Fredrick “It’s very obvious,” Eslar agreed then turns over to the three Knights behind her. “Alright, Sri Zick - Sri Tom - Sri Amos.” She called at obliging the Knights to clasp their hands behind their back. “Coordinate every ship here, all archers are to take vantage points, defend the people at all cost, especially the Queen and her children.” The Knights agreed with a bow then walks away. Along the main street of Rune Clan, Commander Eslar alongside Prince Fredrick and Tihon amidst a large company of Ramenia Knights treads carefully, watching out for any unfamiliar movement. “I saw a man peeping through a window,” Prince Fredrick whispered “
Kingdom of Ramenia Castle Compound The top of the Castle was a spherical marbled-surface having short walls round about it, Prince Fredrick stands beside Commander Eslar, enjoying the unsettling breeze of the early morning and the wonderful sight of Sud. “This is just marvellous.” Prince Fredrick took a deep breath; the view of Sud in full length was the slice of a pie, green on the edges. “You know what else is great," Eslar glints at Prince Fredrick whose gaze was on her - eager for a befitting reply. "Beating you in a duel and becoming the best swords-woman in the West and South.” “It will be my pleasure to end that dream my lady.” Prince Fredrick guaranteed, his sword already in his hand. “Once in a life time offer.” Eslar steps backward, giving a good distance as she drew her sword. “I’ll try going easy on you.” Prince Fredrick assured before clasping one hand behind his back. “Your ignorance will cause you to bow to my victory, Fredrick.” Prince Fredrick was caught off g
ORLANDA RAMSEY The town of Ciadac, a South-east town managed by the Clan of Raging Crows; a clan once feared for their mastery over the darkest sorcery years ago. This dreaded clan soon came to know the God and Lord of the Christian faith as soon as the next in command, Lord Aaron Rooks, stepped into power. The Raging Crows are now known as the Purifiers Creed, whose main aim became to preach against evil acts, as tagged evil by the Holy Scriptures; as well as punishing evil men and women who derived joy in engaging wicked acts. In the bliss of the tepid evening atmosphere, Orlanda Ramsey looking ravishing as always, trots his horse through a market, smiling cheerfully at the serenity of the town; coming close to a compound gate, he halts his horse in front of the five spear-men clad in leather gray hooded armor. "State your business,” the middle spear-man ordered “You speak to Orlanda Ramsey, second in command of the Purifiers forces.” “To whom do I owe?” the Soldier pronounced.
Kingdom of Riana Fifth district-West section Wielding his long sword Jerrod Rooks stood still and calm on the bridge linking the West section of the fifth district and that of the sixth, peering at the veil. He turns over to his seven Soldiers holding torches and their swords then he gazed at Commander Darren standing behind his Soldiers. “Remember what I told you Darren.” “I will Sri Jerrod.” Jerrod turned back to the veil, he sighed then walked into it, as though he was submerged in water, the veil sucked him in - the Soldiers hesitated in their movement but eventually followed. Jerrod and his Soldiers trended the numb silent streets of the obscure ice-cold town, frost following every breath, carefully observing their surroundings, on getting to the town square they beheld with their eyes the bodies of the towns folk, stacked up together and the children sitting round about the pile of bodies; aside this there was a child standing before the sore sight, appearing to be dead but
Kingdom of Riana The heavy down pour came with fury and thundering, driven on all sides by the raging wind - a thick fog hovered over Riana, so dense no one would know who or what was close by. In the west section of the fifth district, two children - male and female, about six-seven years straightened up on their beds due to the loud rumbling and howling. They stared at each other, looking gloomy and drowsy; they stood up on their feet walking out of the room as though they were not in control. The female child opened the door on reaching it, allowing the heavy down pour to gust into the cottage but still the parents of the children were fast asleep, a flash of lightning revealed several figures in the fog - off the children went into the fog. Three days later Fifth district-West section Eight men, mature and young - rode their horses through the empty main street, halting their horses not too far from Commander Darren who stood with five Riana Soldiers in front of the bridge lea
