Chapter 8

𝘿𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙙'𝙨 𝙋𝙊𝙑. 

I looked at Noel and my blood was boiling seeing him staring at my goddess lustfully and from the look on everyone's face, his presence wasn't welcomed. 

"Noel..... What are you doing here? " My mother questioned seething in anger. "I told you not to come here anymore and I clearly cut ties with you, so what the fuck are you doing here. " 

"I wanted to see the new addition to the family after all am also family right? " He said looking at me and I knew he was clearly mocking me and I fist my hand to control my anger. 

I saw him move over to Maya and bowed before her. 

"Look who we have here. " Noel said and turned to me with a smirk on his face. "I knew you were secretive but I never knew she was your girlfriend...... You have really good taste in women."

"And you have a very good taste in making people wanna puke when you show up. " Maya said with her arms crossed shocking everyone but smiles followed afterwards except for Noel. "It nice to met the man who slept with my David's ex. " 

I was shocked hearing her call me hers and it filled me with joy. 

"Because if you and her hadn't stoop so low, he wouldn't be mine today and if you think am cheap like her then you better leave my site because am a one wants man and am David's woman....... One look at you and I know you have no self respect or any form of respect at all because if you did, you won't be here today but being a bully who find joy in intimidating people, I know you won't get it...... Your aunt is not in the condition to deal with a traitor like you so please leave. " Maya yelled at a baffled Noel who flinch which azed me because he was not a type that got intimidated easily. 

Noel's shock turned into anger and he turned to look at mum but the cold and disgust etched on her face sent a clear message that she was with Maya. 

He left muttering vulgarity and we all calmed down. 

Everyone turned to look at her with admiration and she turned to my mum. 

"Am sorry Mrs Gandy...... I just got carried away. " She apologized and my mum shook her head and signalled her to seat and so did we. 

"Don't apologize....... He is no different from his father, ungrateful,greedy and envious....... I thought I could raise him right like I did with Collin and David....... I never loved anyone of them more than de other but I didn't think he will turn out this way, disrespectful and ungrateful and I have warned David and Collin time and time again not to watch up to him but they don't listen. " 

I looked down in regret and so did Collin when we felt the anguish and disappointment in her voice. 

"I know you two are doing it to make me feel better but you two still hanging out with him is what's making me feel worse and because of that he is crossing every limit and disrespecting our boundaries...... David..... Call of all deals he has with your companies and same goes for you Collin....... He is a monster and I knew it but was in denial of it...... I don't want him destroying your lives so please cut all ties with him. " 

"We will mum...... And we are sorry. " Collin said and I nodded. 

"Calm down baby...... They have heard you and one more thing. " My dad said and turned to Maya. "Stop addressing us as Mr and Mrs....... You are family now and so call us mum or dad...... Understood."

"Okay Mr Gandy. " Maya said and Dad lifted his eyebrows and she giggled adorably. " Sorry dad. " 

Everyone laughed and mum made us eat up. 

It was the best dinner the family had ever had and Maya gelled so well with my parent that, they even forgot I and Collin were around. 

From Maya funny nature to her intelligence, I could see my parent were mesmerized and my father threw me a thumbs up. 

For the next two months, we were literally couples and I totally forgot we were just in a relationship just not to make my mum upset. 

We never crossed the line from kisses on the cheeks and forehead and a few hugs which was shocking to me because they women I was with before her were always willing to submit to me all the time and even on first dates but Maya was different. 

It's been two weeks since my baby sister Gwen was born and we all couldn't be more happier. 

She was so beautiful with curly jet black hair, chubby cheeks complimented by a button nose and a full lips, in short, Gwen was perfection. 

I just entered my office after a signing a multitude billionaire pound deal when my goddess barged in startling me. 

She looked so worried and I rushed up to her and cupped her cheeks in my hand. 

"Maya...... Are you okay? " I asked in concern and she moved away from me and started fidgeting with the ring on her index finger. 

"Am sorry David....... I can't do this anymore. " she said and my heart sank hearing her and understanding what she means. "This is getting out of hand...... . My work with you is done and I have to leave and I feel so horrible knowing am about to break your parent's heart especially after everything, " 

She cried out and my eyes also teared up knowing she was about to leave and about to break not only my heart but that of my parent, Collin and Oliver who has been asking me to propose to Maya but the fear of rejection has held me back. 

Yes I love her. More than any thing and anyone and she will stay with me and be my wife and mother of my children

"Then stay with me. " I said and she was shocked. 

I moved closer and cupped her face and kissed her forehead. 

"Stay with me Maya....... Let's make this real because I want it to be real and I know you want it but you are holding back because of the lifestyle I use to live...... Trust me Maya..... I will forever stay faith to you. " 

He eyes teared up and she grabbed my suit and pulled me down and kissed me. 

I was shocked but reciprocated with us fighting for dominance and shockingly and surprisingly, she won. 

We both pulled out hesitantly and laughed. 

"I love you Maya. " 

I confessed and she smiled and pecked my lips. 

"I love you too David. " 

And our love story began only for it to end within a year and half with Maya leaving me with any explanations the very day I was going to propose but now I have her and our princess. 

The symbol of your love and she will have to explain why she left when she wakes up. 

Sanchez my driver pulled up into the mansion and he opened the door as I lifted an unconscious Maya into the house only to met Mimi tapping her feet on the marble floor with her arms crossed, clearly furious and Gloria stood behind her with a worried look and I knew she was about to go crazy on me.

In a luxurious apartment sat a man on his couch stroking his penis and moaning profanity as he looked at a picture of a beautiful woman clamped in a red two piece bikini. 

"Fuck Maya. " He moan as he stroked faster and vigorously and within a few seconds he climaxed and ejaculated his semen all over the floor. 

He combed his hand through his hair, as he regulated his breath and his phone rang breaking his reverie. 

He frown at it and ignored the call as he stood up to the kitchen to clean up but this phone ringing again stopped him and he grunt annoyed at the disturbance. 

He picked up the phone and received the call. 

"What the fuck do you want? " He yelled at the person. 

"Am sorry boss but I found Maya. "

He smiled hearing this. 

"Where is she? " He asked enthusiastically and impatiently. 

"In New York Sir but there's a problem? " 

He frown listening to him. 

"What problem?....... I didn't pay you all that money to give me problem.... So fix it and call me when it fixed. " He yelled back at the person. 

"Am sorry sir..... Unfortunately I can't fix it as it involves your cousin David........ He found her first and also there is a child, a baby girl whom looks like she is their child from their relationship and the two of them together with her sister are with David." 

He slammed onto the couch behind him in shock and fear. 

"Sir........ Are you there? " 

This broke his reverie and he replied yes. 

"Follow them...... I want every detail on them understood. " He yelled and threw his phone to the floor breaking it into pieces. 

"Maya is mine David...... She belongs to only Noel and if I succeeded in breaking the two of you up once then I will do it again and make her mine this time even if I have to force her.... That I promise. " Noel vowed with a sinister look etched on his face
