Chapter 40: Mike wants to see Gabrielle

Gabrielle and her friend left the lodge after bidding the girls farewell. A call had been bothering her since she was with the caretaker, but she ignored it.

"Babe, pick up," Agatha said. Gabrielle sighed and picked up.

"Hello," she muttered.

"As cold as Ice," the cold voice whispered. Gabrielle frowned and regretted ever giving him her new number. " Your husband just got down from the school bus," Ice smirked.

"What! Who?" Gabrielle asked.

"The lady's man," Ice smirked again.

"Oh god, I don't want to see him. Where is he?"

"He is heading towards hall B. Where are you?"

Gabrielle turned, looked at her friend, and turned her face again.

"I left Bangkok lodge now, I'm heading to the hotel where I lodged to check out. If he comes out of the gate, please, delay him until I have boarded a bus."

"Are you going to Cape Town this evening?" Agatha said. Gabrielle ignored her.

"How long will I delay him?"

"I'm going to call you when I'm out of here."

"Okay," Ice responded and hung up
