EPISODE 4: TROUBLE IN PARADISE

After the incident at the bar, Anna decided to quit her job, although she felt reluctant at first. Leaving was the only way she could avoid getting in trouble with the people I had injured.

"Wow, you can't resist helping people, can you?" Anna scolded me as soon as she got to her dorm. Nova was there, observing silently. "I'm sorry, they were mistreating her," I explained, referring to the girl I had saved at the bar, but Anna didn't want to listen.

She angrily grabbed her favorite towel and went into the bathroom, slamming the door behind her. "Damn, she's pissed," Nova commented. I replied, "Nah, she'll get over it."

The next morning, I woke Anna up for class, but she was reluctant to get up and even more reluctant to take a bath. I had to leave her behind and head to class alone.

As I sat in class, Nova arrived, escorted by her brother Orion, who still had a disapproving expression on his face when he looked at me. He may not like me, but Nova wasn't going to cut ties with me because of her brother's disapproval.

"Where's Anna?" Nova asked, not seeing her in class. "She's still sleeping in the dorm," I replied. Anna finally arrived in class, looking sad and dragging her feet. She was wearing a sweater and trousers, a far cry from her usual stylish self.

"What are you wearing?" Nova asked, raising an eyebrow. "None of your business," Anna grunted, taking a seat away from us.

Nova suggested we find Anna a new job, and I agreed, although I couldn't return to the same bar. After class, Nova and I searched for job openings in town, but we didn't have much luck until we found a restaurant willing to hire Anna, albeit at a lower pay grade.

When we returned to the academy, we found Anna dancing in her room, wearing a tight bra and shorts. "Oh, are we in the wrong room?" Nova asked, stunned.

Anna turned around, a smile on her face. "Yeah, I'm good." She offered us tequila shots, and I asked her what she was thanking me for. "It's simple, I was getting exhausted with that job," she explained.

Nova and I left her alone, and I went to prepare for the full moon. I pulled out a huge bag from under my bed, containing the tools I needed to survive the night. Anna walked me to the basement, where students went to hide from the full moon's effects.

As the moon rose, I tied myself up, preparing for the transformation. My body snapped and contorted, my mind clouded by a primal fury. When the full moon finally passed, I collapsed, exhausted and spent.

Anna found me later, concern etched on her face. "Freya, are you okay?" she asked, helping me untie the chains. I nodded, still shaky. "Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks for your help, Anna."

She smiled. "Anytime, Freya. We're in this together." And in that moment, I knew our friendship was stronger than any supernatural power.

As we walked back to our dorm, I realized that Anna's birthday was coming up. "Hey, Anna, when's your birthday?" I asked.

"It's next week," she replied. "But don't worry about it. I don't want to make a big deal out of it."

Nova and I exchanged a look. "Come on, Anna, we have to celebrate!" Nova said.

Anna smiled. "Okay, fine. But just a small party, okay?"

We planned a small party for Anna's birthday, and on the day of, we decorated her room with balloons and streamers. Nova brought a cake, and I got Anna's favorite food, pizza.

As we sang "Happy Birthday," Anna's face lit up with a smile. "Thanks, guys. This means a lot to me."

Orion even showed up, although he looked a bit out of place. "Happy birthday, Anna," he said, handing her a gift.

Anna opened it to reveal a beautiful silver necklace. "Thanks, Orion," she said, hugging him.

As we celebrated Anna's birthday, I realized that our friendship was something special. We had been through so much together, and we still had each other's backs.

And as we took a group photo, I knew that this was a moment I would never forget.

As the days went by, things started to get back to normal. Anna was her usual self, and Nova and I were happy to see our friend happy again. But little did we know, something was brewing in the shadows.

Orion started acting strange, always lurking around and whispering on his phone. And then, one night, he cornered me in the hallway. "Freya, you need to stay away from my sister," he growled.

I stood my ground. "What's your problem, Orion? I'm just trying to be a good friend to Anna."

Orion sneered. "You're not good for her. You're a danger magnet, and I won't let you hurt my sister."

I felt a surge of anger. "You have no right to dictate who Anna hangs out with. She's her own person, and she can make her own decisions."

Orion's eyes narrowed. "Fine. But mark my words, Freya. You're trouble, and I'll do whatever it takes to protect my sister from you."

I shook my head, wondering what had gotten into Orion. But I knew one thing for sure - I wasn't going to let him come between me and my friends.

As the days went by, Orion's behavior became more and more erratic. He would show up at our dorm room, demanding to know where Anna was, and accusing me of leading her astray. Nova tried to intervene, but Orion was too far gone.

One night, he cornered me in the hallway, his eyes blazing with anger. "You're a monster, Freya," he spat. "You're a danger to everyone around you."

I stood my ground, refusing to back down. "That's not true, Orion. You're just trying to control Anna's life, and it's not going to work."

Orion's face turned red with rage. "You'll regret saying that," he snarled, before storming off.

I knew then that Orion was a bigger problem than I had thought. And I was determined to put a stop to his antics once and for all.

But little did I know, Orion was just the tip of the iceberg. A dark force was stirring in the shadows, threatening to destroy everything we held dear.

And I was the only one who could stop it.

As the full moon approached, I could feel the darkness growing stronger. I knew I had to do something, but I didn't know what.

That's when I remembered the strange old woman who had given me the necklace. I decided to seek her out, hoping she could help me understand what was happening.

I found her in her small cottage on the outskirts of town. She greeted me warmly, and I explained what was happening.

She listened intently, her eyes gleaming with knowledge. "You are a powerful young woman, Freya," she said. "And you have a great destiny ahead of you."

She went on to explain that the darkness was an ancient evil, one that had been awakened by Orion's meddling. And I was the only one who could stop it.

I was skeptical at first, but the old woman showed me things that made me believe. She showed me visions of the past and present, and she taught me how to harness my powers.

With her help, I was able to defeat the darkness and save my friends. And I finally understood the true meaning of my necklace - it was a symbol of my destiny, a reminder of the great things I was capable of.

As I walked back to the academy, I felt a sense of pride and purpose. I knew that I had a long journey ahead of me, but I was ready for whatever came next.

And I knew that I would always have the support of my friends, and the guidance of the strange old woman.
