Vera couldn't win against him. He refused to leave her room until she finished her food and she did, thinking he would go away.

She handed him empty plate.

"Happy?"

He smirked and placed it away.

"Thank you..."

She gave him a mocking smile and pulled on her bed sheet.

"Now if you allow me..."

She laid back on the bed.

"One more thing!..."

He said and she looked at him.

"You can't stay in this room..."

"Don't start now... I am not staying in your room..."

She warned.

"Vera, Grace is in the same house..."

He sighed.

"I don't want her to know about this..."

"I think she is mature enough to understand that we have separated..."

Vera said.

"Yes but she will ask for reasons, you know her... And I can't tell her that you left me because I used you against your father so I can take the throne, because I wanted to avenge him for killing my mother... You know her mental health, she is not strong enough to understand this... And she has suffered enough to let her know this... Til
