Sorry for the weird tripple chapter update and the late fix,, my lovelies. Everything has been fixed and I will be trying to update as much as possible. I have a few twists and surprises for everyone so try to stick with me throughout the series. The book will be ending soon but a second book will be coming out soon. I promise that the holes and secrets in these two books will be covered and things will start to make sense. That being said, let me know what you think in the comments. I can't wait to hear from you.
After their conversation in Bridgette's office they gathered in the kitchen. Bridgette set the kids up with a snack as they continued their conversation. Instead of keeping the kids in such a clinical environment she wanted them to relax. The information she would be presenting them would be too much to take in if they were tense. Bridgette sighed and sat down at the table with the kids followed by Kane and Dex. She sighed and leaned back into her seat. She sipped on her cup of coffee as she eyed everyone over the rim. She took another sip and cleared her throat. When she opened her eyes she was not surprised to see them staring back at her expectantly. "Look, there's a lot going on that I have kept quiet for your personal safety." She said, looking at Marco and Sammy. "Obviously, I can't tell you everything but starting now Kane and Dex will be helping us run drills and simulations. We're going to be working on some exit strategies in case something happ
Bridgette clicked on a file, which was a voice recording of Bernard's conversation with a client he was working with. She schooled her features and took a deep breath to steady herself. She put her mind into a state of emptiness and clicked on the recording."Ivan, it has been a while." Bernard's voice played over the speakers."Yes, my friend, it has." A deep male voice with a thick Russian accent responded."I hope the product acquired is to your tastes." Bernard said."Indeed, it is. However, obedience seems to be a bit of a problem." Ivan said."How so?" Bernard asked."The child... she does not accept her lessons. She fights back constantly." He said, sounding like a concerned parent."Abigail assured me that she was ready. " Bernard growled."It's fine. I am just concerned. You said she was of strong stock and above average intelligence. Are you certain? She seem
Bernard stood at his window with a crystal glass in his hand. The sky was overcast as the first few drops of freezing rain began to fall. His face was grim as he took a sip of the amber liquid. It burned his throat on the way down and settled in the pit of his stomach as it warmed him. His brows were furrowed as he thought about what had happened to Digger. He took a deep breath as he played the events over in his head.Somehow, Digger ended up in a situation where he had gotten arrested. He still wasn't sure what had happened. Digger couldn't remember remember anything either. On top of the issue with Digger, Santiago seemed to be having problems with the product that he had acquired. The only thing that made sense was that someone was helping her terminate her pregnancies. He swallowed down the rest of the whiskey in his tumbler before turning to face his desk.Bernard set down his glass and grabbed his phone. He swiped through his contacts looking for Ab
A/N: This chapter is going to contain some bit of bdsm especially in the master/slave area. It will also contain some explicit sex scenes. Look for the **** if you want to skip ahead. I look forward to your comments.Bernard made his way back to his office. He didn't have time to wait for his men to finish cleaning Isa up. He needed to give Ginny her orders. He felt comfortable sending her back out into the field since it had been more than a month since her punishment. Now she was performing her duties with ease and a new found eagerness.Bernard walked up to the second floor and knocked on the third door down on the left side of the corridor after turning right he waited for a moment before the door know turned. Ginny's gray blue eyes brightened up when she saw him. A bright smile blossomed on her face as she opened the door the rest of the way."What can I do for you, Master?" She pur
Hello my lovelies, Sorry for the late and incosistent updates. I had a problem with the laptop I am using and kept running into problems updating using my phone. That being said, I will have quite a few chapters coming soon since I was still writing by hand this whole time. A few things to note before the next chapters come out. The book will be ending soon. I understand that I still have a whole bunch of unanswered questions and plot points to go through but remember this is a series. They will be answered in due time. I know some of you will not be satisfied with the ending but there is whole lot to go over and this is a story line I have been working on for years.
Bridgette sighed and leaned back in her seat. She rubbed at her tired eyes and frowned. Her back ached and her fingers were cramped. She had spent most of her time going through files and working on getting the final bugs out of the program. Now that she had gotten most of the bugs out she wanted to do another trial run. She moved the files she had gone through to separate file folders. She set the program to run and then stood up from her seat."Do you want anything?" She asked Dex."Can you start another pot of coffee?" He asked frowning into his coffee cup."Yeah. I need to run upstairs and make a phone call. It will be ready soon." She said, getting the coffee ready to brew."Okay." Dex said, turning back towards his screen. "I'll see you in a bit.""Okay." Bridgette said, pressing the brew button.Bridgette stretched her back and climbed up the ladder. She emerged from the bunker and squinted against the br
Ginny wrung her hands together as she stood outside of Bernard’s office. She had done as she was told and went to meet with Ricky. She had swung by his office but he was there. She had even gone to his house but no one was there and the house was empty.Ginny was terrified of standing before him and telling him that she had failed. She knew him well enough to know that her failure would not be well received and could mean her death. With a trembling hand she reached up and knocked on the door.“Come in.” Came his gruff response.Ginny took a deep breath and sighed. Her shaking hand gripped the door knob. She turned the knob and poked her head inside. Her knees knocked together as he sat behind his desk and gave her a stoney look.
“You did great today, Marco.” Bridgette said, smiling down at the young boy.“Really?” Marco asked with a wide grin spreading across his face.Marco’s face was red showing the effort he had put into his training. His red curls were plastered to the top of his head. He looked exhausted to Bridgette which made her feel a little bad for pushing him so hard.“Yeah,” she said, ruffling his sweaty hair. “I’m really proud of you.”“Thank you.” He whispered as his cheeks seemed to grow even redder.“I mean it! You’ve gotten faster and stronger. You’ve done very well.” She said, wrapping up her hands.
Thank you for reading. I know a lot happened and there will be more to come. I promise that plot points and questions will be answered over time. Just hang in there with me as I am working on the next book in the series. The next book will be up soon with more romance, mystery, and intriegue. Bernard will be back with his villianous ways and Margo will be making some appearances here and there as the story follows new characters but helps you understand Bernard and the motives behind what is taking place. This book will be more villian centered than the first one. So look for book 2 of The Devil's Knight's MC Series: The Devil's Prey.
After a few more rounds they fell asleep wrapped up in each other’s arms. Kane rolled over in his sleep reaching for Bridgette but frowned when he found her side cold and empty. He sat up and rubbed the sleep from his eyes. He looked around the room and sighed at the quiet. Kane climbed out of the bed and slipped on his underwear. He padded down the stairs in search of Bridgette.Kane went to the kitchen and noticed that the coffee maker was off. He frowned and went to the office thinking that she could be there or in the bunker. When he saw that the desk was in place he began to worry. On top of the desk was a note written in Bridgette’s messy handwriting. Tears stained some of the paper causing the ink to run and smudge a little.Kane,
“I have for a long time.” Kane whispered, crossing over to her.Bridgette stood there in shock staring up at him. A deep blush spread across her face as she swallowed the nervous lump in her throat. She blinked a few times before realizing that he stood directly in front of her. She sighed as his hands threaded into her hair, holding her still as he pressed his lips to her’s.Bridgette moaned into the kiss as she wound her arms around his neck. She stood on the tips of her toes and pressed into him as he nipped and sucked her bottom lip. Her heart pounded into her chest as she lost her senses to him. He was constantly invading her mind and even though there were more important matters to deal with her mind thought only of him.In her foggy haze she barely registered him picking he
Kane returned two hours later with an annoyed Mary in tow. Her jaw was hanging open as she took in the large house on the familiar property. She turned wide accusing eyes on him a moment later as her mouth began to turn down into a frown.“Are you fucking kidding me?” She growled angrily. “This is where you’ve been?”“Just shut it and come inside. We have a lot to do and not much time to do it.” He said, climbing out of his truck.“Don’t order me around, you ass!” She huffed as she followed him to the front door.To her surprise he entered the house without knocking. “Hey,” Dex said, coming to stand next to him.“Hey. Did you guys get everything sorted out?” Kane asked.“She’s dragging her feet and I can’t say that I blame her. She doesn’t trust anyone except Bridgette.” Dex sighed, running a hand through his hair. “I don’t know what to do…. We can’t expect Jess and Machine to take her in. They have the kids so their hands are full.”“I might have an idea….” Bridgette whispered, stepping outside to join them.“What are you thinking?” Dex asked, raising a brow.“Can you call your sister?” She asked, turning her eyes towards Kane.
“Jess, I need you and Machine to take the kids and keep them safe.” Bridgette sighed.“I thought that they were safe here.” Machine frowned.“They were.” Kane said, still mad that she had put herself in danger again.“What happened?” Jess asked.“That bastard managed to get to an informant and his family. Long story short, their dead and they were under federal guard.” Bridgette sighed.“But what does that have to do with the kids?” Machine asked.“It means that if he can get to them while they’re under federal protection then he can get to me and it won't
“Bridgette, you need to stop and think about this!” Kane yelled, following her through the house.“There’s nothing to think about.” She said with a stoney face as she made her way down to the bunker.“Why won’t you stop and listen to me?” He argued.“Because you’re just going to try and talk me out of this and there’s nothing you can say to change my mind.” She said, starting up the computers.“Goddammit! I don’t want to lose you! I can’t go through that again!” He yelled.“You’re not going to lose me, but you are going to have to trust me!” She said, turning to face him teary eyes. &
Bridgette sighed and leaned against the railing as she thought about how crowded her place had suddenly become. The cold air blew across her skin reminding her that she hadn’t worn a jacket or shoes. She closed her eyes, savoring the quiet as the wind whipped her hair around. She didn’t mind the chill or the numbness in her appendages. Her mind was elsewhere as she stared out at the early morning sky.“Bridgette….” Kane sighed, opening the door with a fresh cup of steaming coffee in his hands. “What are you doing out here in the cold?”Bridgette didn’t turn to look at him as he watched her worriedly. She took a deep breath of air and sighed, watching the warm air float out on the early morning breeze. She tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear and nibbled on her bottom lip.
