Ruari (Book 1)

I could feel a storm brewing within my dark princess. Her emotions were all over the place. Before I could whisk her out of the room for a bit all the color drained from her face as she bolted for the ensuite in my office. I wanted to be mad at someone for causing this, but it was no one's fault. How her parents had hidden her older brother from everyone is impressive. Eivor and Fredrik had no idea he even existed. How Xo and his friends were able to find this out was also impressive. While I did not like to see her heaving, I also knew that this was normal. I made sure to pull her hair away as she continued to heave. I heard someone walking up behind us. I looked down to see Aerian look over her shoulder, but then her eyes began to roll to the back of her head she fell to the side. I caught her before she hit the damn counter. I picked her up cradling her against me. I had a feeling that this conversation was overwhelming her.
