Caleb's POV

I watched as Titan left Alana to the gate to meet with his warriors. I then proceeded to sneak into the weapons room as Alana's back was still turned against me.

I slowly walked out from behind the weapons room, where I hid, and proceeded to the door. I had dropped the crutches behind so the pain that I was feeling before multiplied. Everywhere began spinning again and my head began to pound real hard. I held my aching head as I paused by the stairs to catch my breadth. The bandage around my belly was now soaked with sweat and I could feel a stinging pain as the salty sweat came in contact with my wound.

I turned around to see if Alana had seen me but she was still staring at the gate. Slowly and carefully, I began to climb up the stairs, trying my very best to ignore the pain that was radiating through my body.

I reached the top after much struggle and decided to rest for some seconds. Suddenly, from the corner of my eyes, I saw Alana turning from the gate, towards where
