Clay adjusted in his seat with a puzzled look on his face and asked

"What is it?"

Lorraine drew a deep breath and heaved a sigh

This was the point of the evening she had dreaded most, and almost wished that she didn't have to tell him. But it was what was right for their marriage and didn't want it to blow up into a huge problem that might cause them to drift apart later on.

She took another sip of her apple juice and suddenly, the atmosphere of the room seemed sullen and dreadful

"Lorraine?" Clay said with a raised eyebrow

"Okay," she said and leaned forward

"But I need you to promise me that you will not freak out or get mad. Okay?" She asked

Clay was getting more anxious by the minute

"What is it, Lorraine?" He repeated more assertively this time

"Remember the guy you saw at the hospital and then at the school?" Lorraine asked and immediately, Clay could feel his heart beating faster and his eyebrows creased

He suddenly became tensed but still managed to keep his composure
