I really doubted if anyone would be able to come here to disturb the serenity we felt. I stared up at the dark sky, sighed, and glanced at him. To get his attention off his phone, I took his hand.
"How's everything going on?" I asked. For some unknown reason, I wasn't feeling the friendship and love between us. I couldn't even tell if I was the one acting like a stranger to him. This guy had been my friend for two years, and had been my boyfriend for six months, shortly before I had gotten married to Ivan. He had always been my greatest supporter, so feeling awkward around him just wasn't right.
