CHAPTER THIRTY-ONE

LILY

"This is beautiful, Tiffany. Thankyou." I look around the luxurious hall. My eyes are shining in adoration. This is my eighteenth birthday. It's really happening, just the way I've always dreamed.

"Lily." Tiffany pulls at my arm. "As much as I'd love to take credit for all these. I did none of this." She twirls in the blue and black polka-dot evening dress she has on, with her hair styled in a matching French twist as mine.

"But my dad told me it was all your idea."

"I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about." She waves at some of the girls from our high school, signaling them to come over.

"So, if you didn't help my dad in planning this party, then who did?"

She shrugs. "Who knows you as well as I do?"

But why will he care about a party? My 18th birthday party.

The theme color is blue with a little gold, black, and silver adornment. The hall is expensively decorated with a neon dancefloor and a banquet set at one end. Guest are sitting in a cocktail seating arrangemen
